The centre is fairly basic in appearance..yes sterile and clean..but isn't that what you want when you are around sick people. The doctors speak a variety of languages and are happy to take in a family or couples at one time. They are happy to refer to specialist if there needs further investigation. I have always been happy with the service here and it is right beside a Chemist to get that essential script filled. Other shops are very close as well and there is plenty of parking underneath with a travalator.

Best to have a reasonable idea of what's wrong first, but most of the GPs are fine for a prescription, referral, certificate or the very common ailments. Not only is his mannerism calming and caring, he has a wealth of knowledge. As a PTSD patient, I would often be judged by doctors. Dr Javahari has never taken matters lightly, and made his mission to never make me feel judged for my illness. He insisted on monitoring me weekly, when going through bad bouts, so as to keep me safe. All-in-all, he has saved me. Helped me with physical ailments, psychological ailments or would refer me onto the experts need be. I couldn't be happier with the responsible care, compassion and determination displayed by Dr Javahari. Also, the beautiful Administration staff and nurses, never make us feel a burden, and always have a smile on their faces. Well done Dr. Javahari and Penrith Medical Centre.

She hails from England and has been at the Mosman Practice for a number of years. She's empathetic and takes time to listen - I've never felt rushed by her (though this can mean a bit of additional waiting some time as she can over run). She draws diagrams to explain conditions and writes down pointers so that you can digest what you've been told when you get home. She's not afraid to relate her personal experiences and give her opinion on what course you should take. She gives the title family GP a good name and I'd be at a loss if she left the practice. She's has the curious bonus of sounding like Mrs Rabbit from Peppa Pig though this is likely to only appeal to kids and me. She's only available until 2pm every day, so be sure to make your appointment early.
