In 2014, I moved to another city near Chicago where I recently had trouble with a Ryobi lawnmower battery that was still under warranty. After 6 weeks of run-around from the Ryobi company, I was told by the Ryobi company to take my equipment to a service center. Not wishing to drive into Chicago, I opted to drive a little farther, back to Goshen where I was already familiar with the area and this company in particular. Zach was my contact person at Erv's and he did an EXCELLENT job of going to bat for me. He took the case to the parent company (wisely by-passing the runaround I had experienced with Ryobi) and after several rounds, he prevailed in getting all the issues resolved to proper satisfaction. He exemplified what customer service ought to look like everywhere, all the time. He was a gentleman and needed no prodding or convincing - he just did the right thing from the very beginning. It was well worth my two separate trips halfway across the state to have my faith in humanity be given the boost it received from interacting with such a competent customer service representative.

I needed a natural fiber (cotton canvas) tufted sofa cleaned after it was stained with coffee. Abel the technician was very upfront and honest. He informed me of the process and disclosed that there wasn't any guarantee that the stain along with other spots would come out given that other products were already used and the spot was rubbed vigorously instead of blotted, but after he finished his work and I air dried the cushions they look good as new!
