The initial conversation went well, but it turned out just to be a good sales pitch with no follow through. The service was affordable, but what was supposed to be a flat rate Trademark Application turned into monthly bills from the billing department which caused me to continually remind them that my service was an agreed upon flat fee. They would apologize and send another bill the next month and so on. What was worse, was that long after the flat, up front bill was paid, we found out that they never even performed their due diligence and now my business name is in conflict with a company in North Carolina thereby costing me thousands of dollars and revenue lost while I change my business name and re-brand. The lead attorney knew about this and waited over 45 days to contact me. I had to email him and his reply was, "Sorry, your emails were going to my SPAM folder" When I asked for advice on how to proceed since our name was in conflict, he advised me not to say anything and just fly under the radar. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL and a complete failure in customer service. When I asked for a refund for their negligence they ignored me without even owning up or apologizing for their mistake. A mistake of which I have multiple emails verifying but good luck trying to sue a Trademark Lawyer over a mishandled trademark. After court, she was supposed to work with opposing counsel to get a mediator. I have been emailing and calling once or twice per week, and she has not responded to any of my attempts at reaching her. Her assistant tells me she will call me back or reply via email, and she never does. This has been going on for 3 months now, and she still has not responded. I don't think I have ever been treated so poorly.
