i came in over the weekend to see if they had crown apple, they didn't so i left. i came in again…read moretoday to see if they stocked it, they didn't so i left. there were 2 workers there nd were both sitting behind the counter and one was eating but they had a clear view of the isle i went into but one of the women waited till i got into my car to come outside, stare at me then walk to the back of my car and write the license plate down. i was confused so my boyfriend who stayed in the car the entire time while i was in the store got out and asked what she was doing. they tried to accuse me of stealing even though they could easily see me walk in with only a small wallet and leave with only the wallet. i'm wearing athletic shorts and a tank top, how could i hide a large sized bottle anywhere? instead of doing their job and asking if i needed help they stared at me oddly. also instead of the lady simply asking me before i got to my car or even payed better attention she would have noticed i had nothing on me besides my SMALL wallet. she instead chose to be rude. i'm sure they have cameras and i hope that they check them and realize how wrong they were.

Three of the caps weren't sealed properly and there was only an inch or two of beer left in the three bottles causing my car to stink. I have been a customer of J&D for several years . The next day I took what was left of the 6 pack back to the distributor and kindly asked for a replacement . As I was explaining to the girl at the register about the beer causing my new car to smell bad , an arrogant young man interrupted and told me bluntly that there are no returns on beer and that I would have to contact Yuengling for a replacement . I know that it would be no problem for him to ask the Yuengling salesman for credit , but the arrogant man apparently doesn't care about pleasing his customers . I told him that I no longer would purchase my beer from him and left for the last time . I would have given no stars , but I couldn't post it without at least one star!

Most things were priced very reasonably and aisles were extremely well stocked and organized. They had everything we had on our list and also when we went there was a wine tasting which they have on Saturdays from 1pm - 5pm. They had a neat little system at the register to make lines go quickly. Each register had two people and while one rang all the items the other packaged/ bagged it all up. Folks were friendly and made small talk as we checked out. Good service. Well stocked. Good prices.
