Everyone was super friendly, responsive, and professional. My husband described the crew as working as if they were working on their own yard because they were taking such care. We will be using this service now on an ongoing basis, for weekly mowing, seasonal clean-up, pruning, etc., and for whatever else comes up! We live on a decent size lot, an acre, and the yard and beds, shrubs, etc., had not been maintained for a long time, prior owner made some bad selections, etc. So, this was a big job. Removed 10 ENORMOUS shrubs, installed dozens of new plants/trees, huge spring clean up, installed 21 cubic yards of mulch, weed preventative, created overall landscape design, relocated some existing shrubs, used existing field stones to create perimeter for beds. Plus, willing to go extra mile to do extras that I did not expect, like removing tree limbs that needed removal either because of pre-existing damage or for health of tree. I told Ken what I wanted and he said he could turn our property into the envy of the neighborhood. I was skeptical at first. I needed flowers and shrubs. The side and rear of the house were just ugly dirt and gravel. I wanted a side patio of pavers and rear walkway to cover up the dirt and gravel on the sides of the house. A walkway from the rear walkway to the rear deck. There was a shed with a cement walkway that had to be removed. This was no small task. They tore down the shed and cement walkway and cleared out and leveled out the rear yard. They had to remove over 20 yards of dirt and rocks. They had to move a small tree from the middle of the yard to the corner. They planted new flowers and shrubs with existing ones put down new sod . Then install all the hardscape. It was quite a task. When it finally was finished I couldn't believe it was the same property. Now when buyers come to see the house the first thing they look at is the beautiful new yard. He came to look at the project ON TIME and spent a good half hour going over my expectations as well as what he thought was needed. We came to an agreement and 2 weeks later the job is done! Project required 55 yards of fill and he topped that with 4"of topsoil, seeded and placed hay over the area for the new grass to take hold. His men cleaned up both nights before they left and you would NEVER know that they were there! His equipment 'damaged' some of the existing grass and he left a WHOLE bag of seed to make it right again! He was extremely responsive to my texts (easiest way to communicate for me) and updated me promptly. I cannot say enough great things about Chris and his company! His workers come to work!
