Such a pity that I now need to find a new doctor/practice as they refuse to schedule my next required injections to prevent me from breaking out into hives and constant itching over a $40 account bill. The last time I was in the office in 2020, my copay is $40, but due to their covid protocols, they were not taking payment in person and said I would be billed later. Well, I dont have a paper bill as of yet, I have not received a phone call regarding this, and apparently they now have a policy that says fi you owe money, they can't book you. This is $40 and the person on the phone cant take my payment either. So this practice holds your health hostage for $40. Too bad I liked the doctor(s) and nurses, but now I will find another doctor. read more

Best allergist office around with convenient hours and plenty of appointment availability. Professional staff. I'm in at least once a month for the past 3 years never had an issue. Sometimes they run behind schedule but that is standard with any physician office, just leave yourself extra time afterwards incase you leave later than expected. read more

So I recently went for a follow-up and saw Dr. Li Liang who I had never met before. Gosh, where do I begin, the whole visit was weird, and I felt rushed, mind you I was the only patient there in the annex office. The two stars for this visit is for the nurse who was nice and other times that I never had a problem here before otherwise I would rate lower. After she was done taking my blood pressure and all that, he didn't even knock on the door, he just came right in and stuck his hand out next to my face (I was sitting down) to shake mine and never really introduced his name to me. As he was going over my chart and asking questions, he began to come off pretty condescending and rude once I told him I've been wheezing lately and was honest about not being on point for taking my controlled inhaler twice a day in the last week. He seemed annoyed at it and then without saying anything he just pointed to a poster in the office and then told me to take a picture of it so I can know what "out of control" asthma mean (smh) I didn't end up taking a picture because I was like um wth I can read that and don't need a picture of it ( I didn't say that out loud to him). He was short with his explanations, and I had to ask him to repeat himself for clarification a few times because it was hard for me to understand over his accent and because his explanations were just not very detailed. He then had me go over to stand next to him where he was sitting down at the desk to show my flowchart on his laptop and tells me "it could be better" but in like a very condescending way as if I'm stupid and being reprimanded that my flow meter isn't as good as it should be. Then as I was standing there still, he explained something about my lungs and nose and placed a finger on my upper chest area at my lungs and then on my nose as he explained it while I was awkwardly standing there....I felt that him having to touch and place his finger on me especially without letting me know ahead was unnecessary and uncomfortable and I still didn't understand what the heck he was explaining - I didn't ask for him to explain it further​ because I just wanted the appointment to be over already. He then recommended me to try another medication to maintain my asthma and said: "well this one I'm not sure if your insurance will cover, but it's very good and expensive so you know it has to be good medication.".....I asked how do I know if my insurance covers it? He said to just go to the pharmacy to pick it up and see how much it is over there and goes on to say, "this is like $700 so I don't know if you really want it." At that point, I wasn't sure if he was joking around but I said no thank you I definitely wouldn't want that then and will just stick to my Dulera but he insisted he'll send it to the pharmacy anyway and that it's up to me if I wanted to pick it up. Mind you, when he came in with the new medication to have me try, he was like moving around fast like he needed to rush out and then ripped open the medication box like he didn't know how to with the pamphlet falling out and whatever else that was in it falling onto the floor and toss the box onto the bed exam....(I was like....oookk). Anyway, after he was done he told me I was all set and I asked him if the nurse was coming back to give me the shot (as she mentioned at the beginning) he said again like I should know better "no, you have to go upstairs we don't do that here" And then what do you know, as I was getting ready to leave the nurse came in to give me the shots there - SMH overall my visit with him was not pleasant and I get it, sometimes doctors have bad days & they're busy but this was my worst visit ever. He made me feel uncomfortable and rushed, he came off condescending and my visit with him was unpleasant, I'm DEFINITELY going to make sure I do not have him again for my future visits! read more

Not recommended! I came to the office as a new patient. Dr Angela Ahuja performed the exam. My main concern was the allergy to pollen and soy that I have experienced and to find out if I have any other allergies. So the Dr kept asking me to do one test after another. Finally she confirmed that I was allergic to pollen and soy?!?! The two things that I have already known. So do I really need those tests to confirm that I have allergic reactions to them??? When I asked about the severity, she could not even give the exact percentage of severity, just told me that if I had hives that meant it was severe??? In my head at that moment was like if I told her that I might have another allergy, she would ask me to do another test. At the end, I still can find out if I have any other allergies!!!! Now I've just received a bill of almost $500 for all the tests that the Dr asked me to do. I wish that they informed me ahead of time about the test fees and that the insurance would not cover. Lesson is learned. I'm writing this to express my disappointment to this medical office where I came to seek help for my health and all I've got was a confirmation for my allergies that I've already known and recommended tests which I believe was unnecessary to get money from the patients. read more

I began going to this practice many years ago when there was different staff working and have had multiple allergy tests over those years and have found that I have grown out of some allergies, developed new allergies, and had changes of sensitivities to other allergies. Also it is up to the client to know what your insurance will cover as there are so many insurances, it is impossible for the office to know coverages each and every client has. Additionally This office has saved my life; discovering, diagnosing, treating, prescribing the proper medications, and advocating on my behalf to the insurance companies, physicians, and hospitals who denied meds, misdiagnosed, and provided substandard care. I was diagnosed by AAS with a very rare mostly unknown condition that was missed by all the "experts" working at B&W and MGH(man's greatest hospital). The physicians have always been available 24/7 to answer questions and provide guidance in treatment at home or when I've had to be hospitalized due to flare ups of the condition. The nurses have always been kind, compassionate, and caring. The support staff always helpful especially Kathleen, who continually goes out of her way to help. Thank you Dr. Mehra, Dr. Ahuja, and Dr. Gruenburg. You have truly saved my life on several occasions. I couldn't imagine going to another practice. read more

I have seen Dr Mehra several times. She was very pleasant. The entire office staff was very friendly and helpful. She explained everything to me, so that I understood it. I would, without doubt, recommend her to all my family and friends. read more
