This last fan motor that went out they sent a guy to put a new one in after 1 week, and it lasted 48 hours. They charged me $280 dollars, and the fan motor quit within 48 hours. They still haven't made it right with me! Terrible service and product! I really think they put a refurbished unit in my place, and charged me a crap load of money! They really suck!!

A few days…read moreago I noticed the living room ceiling directly under the AC unit and ducts sagging, so I called Red Desert. Greg answered and refused to even come look at the roof and ceiling, saying he knew nothing about construction and only installed what he was told. What the *@!? I then called S & S Mechanical and spoke with Joe, who explained that the installer is required to guarantee their work for 1 year and said he knew Greg well and agreed to call him, which he did. Only then did Greg come back out the next morning. When he did look into the attic, he stood on the ladder and looked up inside with his flashlight and didn't even bother to go up inside to look at the sagging area. With all the insulation covering everything, I asked if he was actually able to see the sagging area. He said he did and had pictures. Then he went onto the roof and said that faulty shingles were probably allowing water in. As he left, he promised to send me all his photos. But he has never sent the photos, and when I called his office yesterday, his assistant gave the excuse he was busy and would email me the photos. She hasn't sent them either. If my experience at all concerns you, then don't use Red Desert Refrigeration & HVAC.
