I initially sought Dr. Rajaram's expertise for my knee injury, and after several months of physical therapy, he presented surgery as an option. Unfortunately, my trust in Dr. Rajaram turned out to be misplaced, as I later discovered that the surgery was not necessary. I now firmly believe that surgery should only be pursued in cases where the knee is locking. Throughout my interactions with Dr. Rajaram, I found that he was not forthcoming with the information I needed to make an informed decision. He provided vague answers and, in retrospect, it seems that he intentionally misled me. This lack of transparency has had far-reaching consequences, as the surgery has resulted in more destruction and damage than any potential benefits. I now suffer from nerve damage, scar tissue, and an increased risk of arthritis, which contradicts the claims that the surgery would prevent arthritis in the future. The entire experience has left me with the impression that Dr. Rajaram and his practice operate in a questionable manner. He presented himself as optimistic and confident about the procedures, but it ultimately proved to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors. The surgery has inflicted irreversible harm, and I vividly remember waking up during a conversation with Dr. Rajaram where he casually mentioned that "the operation was easier than anticipated". This was a significant red flag that made me question the legitimacy of his approach. Seeking a second opinion from another reputable practice that has been in operation for over 50 years, I was informed that the surgery performed by Dr. Rajaram was unnecessary. It was disheartening to hear this confirmation, but I insisted on receiving an honest and truthful assessment of my condition. The second doctor elaborated on the falsehoods and inaccuracies presented by Dr. Rajaram, solidifying my concerns and disappointment. As a result of this surgery, I now experience severe locking and popping in my knee, as well as extensive scar tissue damage and nerve damage radiating down my back, leg, and foot. While I had already suffered injury-related damage, the surgery has only exacerbated my physical condition. The complications I now face have had a profound impact on my everyday life, causing significant pain and regret. I feel compelled to caution others against undergoing this surgery unless absolutely necessary, as it can potentially lead to further complications without offering any significant rewards. It is crucial not to be swayed by the seemingly optimistic demeanor displayed by Dr. Rajaram, as I have learned firsthand that this is an unfortunate reality in the medical field. Patients often become mere statistics, while the medical professionals move on to the next case, leaving those affected to suffer. I am a young individual who now must bear the burden of significantly increased pain and regret for the rest of my life. This review serves as a sincere effort to prevent others from making the same mistake I did, falling victim to misleading impressions and misguided treatment choices. Please exercise caution and thoroughly explore all available options before proceeding with any surgical procedures. I was referred to NJ Spine and Wellness Center in Freehold NJ by a fellow medical professional. A recent orthopedic foot surgery was the reason for me to seek therapy. During my initial visit, I was greeted with pleasant smiles and willingness to help. The front desk staff was helpful and patient with the intake information. There was very little wait time before I was introduced to my Therapist, a professional man, AJ. He was attentive and knowledgeable. We discussed my surgery and my goals for therapy. He is patient and he listened. During his assessment and my history, he uncovered another issue that I have had for a awhile. This pain has been for a long time but I just accepted and avoided positions in which it would hurt. We discussed it at length, and together came up with a plan that would get me to my goals and hopefully relieve me of the chronic pain in my hamstring. I started therapy immediately and met the PTA's , whom are knowledgeable , and reviewed the plan ,offering ideas , and modifications as needed. There are many options and modalities for therapy available. I am confident with the professionalism and knowledgeable staff that I encountered, no doubt ,will I be on my feet again enjoying the activities that make me happy. I wish I had a better rating for this place. Unfortunately, Brooke Haden/Livesy kinda ruined it for me on this place. Brooke is an occupational therapist who likes to add male clients to her personal Instagram page. Not her professional work page. Her PRIVATE Instagram page. What kind of gross desperate unprofessional behavior is that? My boyfriend is so uncomfortable with this, he doesn't even go to physical therapy anymore because this woman makes him so uncomfortable. Hi I was referred to this facility from my doctor after waking up and unable to utilize my leg and severe hip pain. The treatment and attention that I have received from this staff has been exceptional. I would personally like to applaud Farah a trainer who helps me with direct exercise for my injury. I just love her! She has the patience of a saint and has instructed me with treatment that has helped me immensely. Farah thank you for your knowledge ,motivation and taking the time to answer all my questions during our sessions. I would also like to mention my physical therapist Rocco who has manage to relieve the severe pain I was experiencing. I have been coming here since September. My DOT Todd Webb has done a great job treating my hands post carpal tunnel surgery. I am also being seen by DOT Mike Sabatino who has been treating me for Achilles heal tendinitis and hip pain and he's been doing a fabulous job. I feel so much better since I started coming here. All the staff here is great especially Dr. Bryant Acquaro who is friendly and personable. The front desk staff Jessica, Rebecca and Joana are wonderful and do a great job scheduling appointments to accommodate patient schedules and managing insurance and billing. I have had many surgeries over the years. Knees, Shoulder, wrist, and have gone to different places for rehab. I have never been treated as well, and taken care of so completely as NJ Spine and Wellness in Freehold. The staff, from the office girls up front to each and every staff member working with the patients, were friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and all created a very upbeat , optimistic and hopeful environment that I think really helps in recovery. They not only try and help you feel better physically, they also put you in such a positive frame of mind, that it can't help but be conducive to faster healing. I was referred to NJSW by a friend after spending months with a different physical therapist and seeing no results. My initial appointment was with Dr. Greg but Dr. Bryant also works with me. They are an amazing team who create a great environment. I have seen more improvement then I could have ever expected in just one month. After their physical therapy, I no longer need the steroid injections my orthopedist recommended. The athletic trainers, especially Taylour, are beyond attentive and helpful. NJ Spine and wellness in Freehold Twp., NJ is AMAZING! My daughter was at the beginning of her Senior year of basketball season and on opening night.....ended up with a partial tear to mcl and acl. Very professional setting with top of the line therapists. Whether it's physical therapy, or reflexology spine and wellness has given me the best treatment yet. Been to many different therapy offices and spine and wellness are by FAR the best. The therapists make you feel very comfortable and that you can discuss anything with them and they have a solution. These guys are great! Very comprehensive evaluation for my first appointment, which was for low back pain. Turns out i have two very degenerative discs... which sucks because I enjoy being VERY active. These folks, however, set out to make me better. A lot of manual manipulation and pt was involved. And, within a week, I was feeling a lot better. And, I have been getting better every week since. On top of all that, they couldn't be a nicer group of people! I've suffered from back pain for longer then I can remember. After a little over 1 month of physical therapy, I can honestly say I've never felt better!!! The athletic trainers, physical therapists and all of the staff are excellent. They are all very kind, and professional. Not to mention energetic and enthusiastic about helping their patients. Since my foot injury, I have been to several PT clinics. NJSW in Freehold is superior to ALL of them. The care they give is more than I ever expected. They make you feel like your talking to an old friend instead an impersonal approach. Every single person at NJ Spine and Wellness is awesome. It's a well run office filled with friendly and talented staff.
