I have been getting gel shots in my knees for approximately 10 years. I have been going to Central Jersey Spine and Wellness for about 4 of those years. I find the entire staff there wonderful. As for getting 1 shot at a time, yes, it's a pain, but Medicare made the rule. So, I go twice a week for 5 weeks. I go there especially because Dr Paris is a surgeon. I find him quite knowledgeable regarding both the shots and the inside of the knee. I'm allergic to contrast, yet he knows exactly where to put the gel. He sure has helped me! Someone said he has no bedside manner...if I wanted someone to chitchat with, it wouldn't be a doctor who follows a schedule to administer shots. Dr. D and staff are amazing! I originally went for treatment with the Softwave TRT which has been a game changer for my plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis! First the billing. My co pay is $30 I kept getting charged 40 and was told that I could not get both my gel shots in my knee at the same time. Dr. Paris said that the insurance company does not pay for them that way. I said I went to every other doctor prior and that is how they did it. He said that they must not know the billing. I talked to Braven and sure enough I just overpaid for 4 visits which also means driving 4 extra times for 45 min! When I wore my mask in the office, Dr Paris said * why are you wearing a mask * Hospitals are masking again ! For a doctor in this day and age to ask why a patient is masking is absurd. I told Dr. D what Dr P said and really did not get any feedback. Esp not * I will have a talk with him. Dr. Paris also has no bedside manor. I told him at the last visit that my knees are a bit better but not a lot. He wanted to give me a steroid shot! I guess he did not look into my records that I am allergic! .... I felt great after the first soft wave treatment so signed up for them. However a few weeks ago my knees were in so much pain and I told the girl and she said it was from the weather ! read more

Don't go to this office for soft wave . they are doing soft wave on customers and have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE what level of waves that ligaments and tendons can withstand and will make you worse . Specific ligaments and tendons have to have a severely low frequency or you damage the ligament and tendon further . I had a few sessions and never went back because my ligament is way worse . I had to see a doctor in the city who explained to me that all of these chiropractors ask you where the pain is - and they take these wand and put it on whatever level they feel and just put it where the pain is. THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS AND YOU NEED TO HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT LEVEL EACH LIGAMENT CAN WITHSTAND AND I ASSURE YOU THEY DO not..... read more

I've been going to Central Jersey Spine & Wellness now for two years. The doctors and staff are excellent. I've never had a problem with scheduling an appointment and everyone has been so accommodating. When I first went there, it was for my arthritic right knee and right hip. I had really bad pain and decided to go with the SoftWave therapy. I didn't want surgery! I was amazed after the first treatment. I could get off the chair without holding on to the arms of the chair! I hadn't been able to do that in 5 years. I have now done the left knee and hip. About a month later, I already felt the difference. SoftWave is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it. Then, Dr. DeBernardis told me about BTL Emsella chair for incontinence. I was so fed up with incontinence drugs that never worked. Finally, again, I am seeing a great change. I can't thank Dr. "D" enough for all of the help that he has given me. A few weeks ago I consulted with Dr Murphy about pain in my feet. I had two prior episodes of Plantar Fasciitis within the last 18 months and now had terrible pain in my left upper foot as well. Dr Murphy examined me and told me I had arthritis in my foot. Dr Murphy adjusted my feet and began working to loosen the fascia muscle. He worked so hard on my feet that it brought tears to my eyes, but after a few visits I was pain free! I was thrilled with the results and couldn't be more grateful to Dr Murphy for all the hard work he put into making my feet well again. He really puts a lot of muscle power into his therapy treatments. Dr Murphy really cares for his patients and takes the time necessary to get you healthy again. My bad I reviewed my doctor and physical therapist, but I neglected to mention the great staff that is the backbone of coordination. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They really try to accommodate you. Andy and his assistant are really fun to be around. It helps me make my appointments easier because I actually have a good time going there lol! Andy has a way of pulling all the patients together into this big conversation and we make new acquaintances while we try to complete our therapy together. We learn about other people's lives during our rehab and that's a strong incentive to complete your therapy. He always makes us laugh and that's important when you're committing so much time alongside your job and other responsibilities. I should of said this the first time I was there several years ago. I've been to MANY chiropractic offices over the years. This office is 100% amazing. The office staff are kind, sweet, caring , helpful. The Dr's are caring, understanding, take time to listen and do every thing they can to help. I went to a chiropractor for 5 months with no help! ! I went here for acupuncture treatment. The acupuncturist was very knowledgeable...I would see him again. However, the admin/billing department is so disorganized! I found this place via Groupon and before leaving I gave them my Groupon number. A few hours later I was called and they asked for it again. Today, I received a bill in the mail for not only my session but other services as well. The bill was over $400. The acupuncturist should find a new office to work out of. I have been a patient of Dr. D's for only a few short weeks, and i wish I had gone sooner. I run, kickbox and weight train several days a week, and since sciatica and lower back pain set in, it had compromised my range of motion, and the intensity of my workouts. Dr. D really helped me to feel better, and with several treatments and specific instruction on what to do at home, I am able to see that with continued therapy, I'll be able to get back to my normal self again.
