I had a storage space that was an absolute nightmare which I needed to get a handle on in preparation for an impromptu out of state move. Spruce Goose's own Jennifer and Kristen came to the rescue. They each worked about five hours straight non-stop, organizing, labeling, sorting, etc. A particularly challenging aspect concerning this job is that the space was very confined and limited so it was like trying to solve and manipulate a giant Rubik's cube. The weather didn't help matters, but that was no deterrent to these gals--they pushed thru like real troopers. They were both very professional and worked efficiently without judgment. Wished I could have had them each another 5 hours or more as this was a particularly big and convoluted job--sorting through years of accumulated items, clothing, tools, supplies, and personal treasures all out most of which were in disarray. The end result, while not totally completed due to time and other constraints was nonetheless satisfactory. My main reluctance to the possibility of using Spruce Goose again would be that their rate$ are very high in my opinion--but then again, if I factor in the value I place on my personal time I suppose they are worth the extra premium! I could have handled this job myself but the emotional and energetic toll extracted would have been significant.

And get this--instead of trying to make a sale immediately and using high-pressure sales tactics, she suggested I go home and buy a cheap leather ottoman from Walmart to see how my cat would react to it and figure out whether or not leather might be an option for my sofa. Not only does she have great connections to companies that produce the furniture I want, she has great ideas on how to decide what will and won't work for me! They are great over the phone(polite, great salespitch), but the work was subpar. I have given up trying to schedule a time for them to come and fix what they didn't do right the first time! I have to now hire another company to fix the work NPLH did. Project manager(hardly showed up,unless we called to point out a problem)did not supervise workers the proper way, this is why work turned out bad. They do not pay attention to detail. Ex.the glue/seal they used for the sink undermount of granite countertop was the wrong type, water leaking through and seeping into our cabinets. Home Depot told me this shouldn't happen if they used right epoxy. Sink shouldnt be leaking after 2 years of having been installed.. Ex.they left the underside of countertop (where it meets up with cabinets) with a gap, wooden trim should have been installed. Careful out there folks! Overall, it was a bad experience working with this company.

Monday afternoon came and I reached out around Noon. Joe stated he was still on a call from 7am and would come out last call. Again, another Red Flag! 6pm came and followed up again.
