Our kitchen remodel, in parts, has been a disaster. I can say with 100% certainty and without hesitation that you should NEVER use Allied Stone In short, they measured our walls incorrectly and blamed us when the cabinets had to be torn out because they were the wrong size. We are still waiting on a refund for that. They measured our fridge incorrectly, thus making upper and lower cabinets not fit correctly. They also blamed us for this. We are still waiting for a refund on that. We asked for our island to be the same size it is now, and rather got one that is many inches bigger, which doesn't work in our space. They blamed us and as you can guess, we are still waiting on a refund for the correct size as we paid over. The designer assigned to us assumed the size of our fridge, the way our cabinets should open in respect to other cabinets in the kitchen and the size of our microwave. Because of this, we had to pay for their mistakes, while being blamed for them. Our general contractor, Garrett and the owner of Allied Stone all met in the house while the designer was there, and Allied Stone was told multiple times, over and over, specifics needed for our kitchen before the project started. We finally had to buy a cabinet from someone in Oklahoma who could fit it in our space, while our contractor had to adjust what was the original blueprint. Allied Stone has yet to refund us for that cabinet, yet said because of that, we changed the entire design of the kitchen. However, the designer didn't do her job. We are waiting on molding to finish off over half of the kitchen. We were told demo would start December 9th. So our kitchen has been boxed up since December 8th. It is still unfinished as we wait on Allied Stone to provide what we have already paid for. Our 3 week remodel has now lasted over 2.5 months, still with no resolution in sight. We have made many attempts to contact them in person, phone and email. We do get some communication but never a resolution. Our contractor has also spoken back and forth with them on our behalf and he gets no resolution either. What I can say, is that in the middle of this disaster, we called Scott Adams with Crown Stone. He was at our house within hours, measured, ordered our counter tops and within a week of the first phone call to him, has our counter tops installed. We will be redoing bathrooms as soon as the kitchen is complete and there is one company we will not be calling. We expected bumps in the road. We did not expect to be working with a company who was ok in treating customers this way. read more

i was impressed with Bobbie of Allied Stone when i went in to look for kitchen cabinet tops. I gave her the rough measurements, selected a quarts pattern and received a quote. I received the contract and information via email. when i went in to make my 50% payment Bobbie was out on vacation and no one could find my file, I had a copy of the contract which they copied and used to accept my payment. (should have canceled then) over a week later I tried to find out when the exact measurement would be done and could not get any information. Finley Bobbie called me and got me in the schedule. A man came out and measured my kitchen and asked several questions, a few days later Bobbie sent me the drawings for my approval. There were some vital measurements missing, I questioned this and she said they were standard but would have them included and resubmit. I received the new drawings and believed then to be good. I was told it would be 3 -4 weeks for my tops to arrive. after 4 weeks with out a word I called to check and was informed I should be hearing in a few days when the slabs were to go in for preparation. I received the call and was informed they would be out the next day for the install between 9 -11, at 11:45 I called to see if they got lost, Bobbie said she would find out and call me back, when she returned my call she said they should be there soon. after lunch i called back and found out that the sink piece was cut wrong and was discovered that morning when loading it and it was sent back to be processed, I would be called when it got to the cutters and schedule the installation. After a few days I called to find the progress I was told she would find out and call me back, when she called I was informed they would call me tomorrow for the install the following day. No word the next day or the following day which was a Friday, on Monday i called and found they were on their way. the sink piece was in the right location but was closed in the front(should be open) they were able to cut that out and got the tops installed. the sink opening was still not as it should be, but we accepted it. After looking the edges were not cut consistently around. not the kind of craftsmanship i would expect from professionals. communication was very pitiful. read more

I had a great experience with these guys when I remodeled my bathroom. and currently have a luxury hotel-like spa oasis. My husband and I were so pleased we returned for our kitchen counters and were mesmerized by the beauty and quality of their product. My kitchen looks fantastic, like HGTV! I can't say enough about my salesperson, we feel like we've known him forever. I bought granite countertops from Ortega and Becky Gomez was the salesperson 7 to 10 years ago. Was very pleased. Since then Ortega has sold to Allied Stone and retained Becky Gomez. I have also moved. I had a problem with the granite in my new house and was told by Allied Stone my granite was not repairable. Went there and Becky told me she would get with her boss and get back to me. I called 3 or 4 times and got the same thing. She said she would call me back the last time I talked to her about 6 weeks or so ago. Have since bought granite elsewhere and will be installed soon.
