I looked you up on Google Maps and it states that your hours of operation are until 6:00 PM. I drove over to your shop to make some photocopies and arrived at 5:05. I parked my car in front of your shop and paid the parking box. I walked up to your door, but when I pulled the handle the door was locked and above the door was a sign that states that you close at 5:00. Please update your hours of operation on Google Maps so customers' time and money won't be wasted. read more

Decent copy shop, but not very efficient. I certainly would rather my money go to a locally owned shop but for small copy jobs they're pretty inefficient an THEIR HOURS SUCK. The latest they stay open is 7pm. Maybe it's just me, but I always seem to get there just after they close (5pm, 6pm or 7pm). I've seen them do nice jobs on larger volume professional print jobs for local business though. So I guess it depends on what your needs are. read more

This place rules! Seriously. I really had no idea what i was doing for this advertising project i was working on. The man there worked with me and gave me his full attention to help me figure out what i was trying to do. Even though we had to use trial and error a bit, they both were completely patient with me and didn't charge me at ALL for any unused paper or mistakes that occured. That wouldn't fly with Kinkos where you have to stick your credit card in a a machine and it sucks the money out. Honestly, personal service is FAR better then going to a HUGE store like that. I've been going here for my business and personal printing and copy needs for the past 4 years and have had nothing but good experiences. The owner and staff are always professional and courteous. Last week the owner called me to tell me I had left my USB flash drive there at my last visit a few days ago. He went out of his way to find out who it belonged to! I was very impressed and thankful for this effort! 5 stars when they switch to recycled paper :). I bring my own and they charge me less for prints because it's my paper, but I wish they would make the switch in the store. It's more expensive, but their prices could be increased a tad to adjust for that. read more

I visited this place to fax something, but the price was outrageous. $2 to fax one page, plus $1 for each additional page. So instead, I went to the Evanston library, which faxed all seven of my pages for free. Also, the fact that one has to use their on-site computer that charges by the minute is quite stressful. Makes you feel like you need to rush so as not to waste minutes. Since I chose not to use their services, I cannot comment on the quality of their product. read more

The biggest thing is that the man on the phone could not give me any kind of pricing whatsoever, nor was there pricing on the website. I will say that the customer service was outstanding. That's about all I can say positive about this print shop. I own a printer that will print up to 13x19 inches and I wanted to get something larger (20x30 inches). I gave them a .png file on a Friday. When I went to pick it up on Tuesday, they hadn't printed it yet. I was told that they could print it right away. Then I was told that the file that I gave them (a .png) was showing up at 72 dpi (very low quality) when converted to .pdf. Apparently, they can only print .pdf which is a very low quality. The resulting prints were embarrassingly bad for a professional print shop. I really liked the guy who helped me but they simply don't have the ability to print high quality art prints. It's great to have this locally owned print shop in the neighborhood. The owner has always been very friendly, and I've always been able to print simple jobs quickly. I DO wish they would be more upfront about their pricing -- posting a simple price list would be a good thing. Not a good copy shop. I went in wanting to get something quickly printed off my USB and found out I was required to pay to sit at a computer (10 minute minimum charge) and print it myself! Then, when I asked about different cardstock, I was given an attitude like I was hassling them too much. Finally, I needed my pages bound, but apparently the "binding shop" was closed (even though the copy shop was open for another 2 hours) so I could only get a quote. So after all the attitude and lack of service, I decided to go up to Quartet Copies in Evanston. Yes, it's far away (though not too bad on the el), but at least I know I'll get fantastic instant service. read more

I stopped in on a whim to print four 10"X14" black/white photos from a flash drive. The guy working was friendly but didn't know the equipment all that well. Having said that, I am tech savvy enough to print and did just that without any hassle. He charged me $10 total for all four prints on glossy heavy weight photo paper. I was in and out of the shop in 10 minutes. I previously priced around and would have paid at least $20 for ONE print at the UPS store. I'd definitely go back. read more
