Then JAMES with Allied Universal representing your company completely embarrassed himself and CHASE bank with his performance. He acted like a complete FOOL! They fired Allied Universal security guard who got hired by Brosnan 6 years ago. Gene E - - - s works in Orangeburg, NY at Alarm monitoring site . Works Fri nights and Saturday evenings and Sunday days into evenings double shifts. . Brags to neighbors he watches television and eats entire 32 hour shifts $20 hour. No oversight works alone. Simply checks alarm panel room hourly ensure alarms working. What a job. I hope Allied Universal has stricter work ethics tthan Brosnan has to date. My son has been working with this horrible company for 6 months. They are the WORST. The contract/hiring manager, Lakeisha Rollins, will not do her job and process his transfer as he requested 2 MONTHS ago. She won't answer his calls and even had the AUDACITY to tell his supervisor to stop him from calling her. His supervisor is illegally doctoring his timecards to ONLY pay him for 8 hours when he CLEARLY works more than that. Guards are REQUIRED to stay on sight till their relief arrives, but they aren't paid for the extra time they have to stay if their relief is late, and they can't leave, or they will be terminated. WHAT? Isn't tampering with a timecard illegal? Isn't that consider stealing or fraud? Now he's being asked to turn in his badge without having an alternate site to go to, but his transfer was approved? This sounds like an utterly complete set up. This company is horrible! read more

Allied-Security has one of the biggest contracts with San Francisco buildings and so many things get stolen each day. They also hire so many raw staff, they don't know what they are doing. Allied-Security is currently in charge of security for our building. Well on 6/13/2017 a person walks right pass their staff and stole my belonging in the late afternoon. Talking to a regular building visitor, his stuff was stolen minutes after walking due to his items being a possible security issue. An off-duty police assigned to building verified. read more

I've worked for allied for over a yr now. I'm owed a paycheck for 2 weeks ago and still haven't been told when to expect it. No one answers the phone at the Portland office ever!. Can't get a hold of payroll or HR. Horrible employee experience. Going to look for a new job soon. I only worked with this company for a few months. My manager lakiesha was sooooooo unprofessiona... she never picked up the phone and was always getting smart. She is very very inconsiderate and very unprofessiona. She is also a liar. She fired me for a no call no show but had me on the block list so my calls and text never went through. She blocked my phone number from fee phone after telling me that I needed to find a better " support system " for my daughter because I need to go get my daughter from school due to after care being closed for that day. she put my requests off in as call outs but telling someone a month to two weeks before the actual date is not a call out it's a request off. She told me that I had too many call outs And she did not approve my request to be graffitied to someone new. And they fired me because she said I did a no call no show. But how can you contact someone who has you on the block list ? But there is a big difference between calling out and requesting off. my only recommendation to anybody willing to work there is not to go under her management. read more

In order to get to the "why" of my review, I feel I need to provide some context. On Sunday, December 22, 2019, my family (my husband, three children, and our dog) and I were traveling for Christmas from our home in Kentucky to Florida. While driving through Georgia my husband, who was driving, suddenly became ill and passed out at the wheel on I-75. When this happened we were in the middle of I-75. It was a traumatic event for everyone! While we were very blessed to, somehow, not get hit by any other cars, it was a very scary situation for me and my children. After we were able to get the car to the side of the road, I called 911 and had to wait 45 minutes alongside I-75. It took another 15+ minutes to get to Spalding Regional Hospital. I was absolutely frazzled. I was trying to calm and reassure my children, to plan for whatever the hospital might find going on with my husband, and to figure out how I was going to spend time at an emergency room with 3 kids and a dog. I decided to leave my 2 oldest boys (12 and 15) outside of the emergency room with our dog while my youngest and I went in with my husband. I quickly let the nurses in the ER know that my 2 children were out front with our dog. They said it was fine. Before my husband was even in a room a security guard came back to the nurse's station to say that there were children unsupervised with a dog. I overheard the nurses explain the situation to him. About 10 minutes later he was back and approached me and told me my children could not be unsupervised. My head was absolutely spinning; I was so overwhelmed. In many states it is illegal for a dog to be left in the car, but the security guard said that was what I needed to do. I went ahead and put the dog in the car, though I was very concerned about how my dog would react to this and was equally concerned a dog advocate would break my window to get the dog out. The nurses who overheard my interaction with the guard were almost as upset as I was by the way they were speaking to me. They told me to do what I needed to do for the dog and it would be fine. After 15 minutes or so later I sent my oldest (15) to check on the dog and make sure she wasn't barking or tearing anything in the car apart. Being that we were traveling for Christmas we had snacks and presents in the car. I was worried she might get into those, feeling that she was trapped. He was escorted back to me by a security guard, as if he had done something terribly wrong. I was told he could not travel alone anywhere in the hospital. By this time I had heard enough. I was frazzled, in a town and state far from home, in a traumatic situation, with 3 kids and a dog! I could not possibly do it all myself. I needed my son to be able to help me. I will admit, I was at the end of my rope and lost my temper. The guard walked away and returned with another guard (Vaughn) who proceeded to get right up in my face and tell me how no minors could be unattended in the hospital. I had to tell him to step back because he was right in my face. He was very rude and condescending to me. He lacked any and all empathy for the situation. Ultimately, after many exchanged words and my nerves being completely shot, he left. A nurse who had heard came by and offered to escort my son anywhere he needed to go in order to help me and check on the dog. It was by far one of the worst experiences I have had. I was absolutely appalled by the treatment I received from Allied Security. In my profession I have had to undergo many hours of training on trauma-informed care. It seems that any security personnel (or any staff) should be required to go through such training. We were all suffering from the trauma of our experience. We needed support, understanding, and help. All we received from the security personnel was added stress and trauma. This is disgraceful. No family should have to go through this. I hope this review of our experience will help to inform future trainings and expectations of care from ALL those who work in the hospital. read more

My husband applied to Allied for a security position in a warehouse, even though he knew he had a record but it has been 10years since he was in any kind of trouble, like you know he grew up. Allied Universal did a background check, called him to say he was hired and he went in to orientation. He was so proud of himself, enrolled in school for his bachelors for over a year now and FINALLY someone gave him a chance regardless of his past 10 YEARS AGO. Same day of orientation after receiving uniform, setting up direct deposit he gets a call from someone in HR telling him they cannot give him the position. How unprofessional to make someone go through the process, he turned down another position once he was scheduled for orientation and NOW THAT POSITION IS GONE. Someone even told him they called him regardless of background bc of what he wrote on his application on how he was young and immature, getting into trouble but now is in school, has a family and is trying to buy a house BUT CANT EVEN FIND A JOB. Almsot like the system is set up to make people do what they MUST to provide for their family. EVEN MINIMUM WAGE JOBS IS DOING BACKGROUND BUT PEDOPHILES WORKING AROUND CHILDREN. This company must go back to the drawing board on hiring qualified employees. On Sunday December 15, 2019, I entered upon the shopping center property of Westfield Corporation located at the Village in Woodland Hills, CA. I was accosted by two security guards. I was DRESSED AS SANTA on my way to Costco. I produced adequate credentials verifying I was a Minister, Mayor Emeritus and retired from the police. They said I had TO LEAVE. They continued to follow me into Costco where I am a MEMBER. Soon I was approached by two police officers of the Los Angeles Police Department. They said I had to leave too. I stated I was a member of Costco and would only leave if the manager asked me to do so. The manager strongly refused their request stating I was a member and he knew me. All the kids there were waving and a few asked if Santa was going to be arrested. Frankly, I would not hire Allied to watch my dog. I am a recognized national leader who has saved lives and improved the world we live in and will not be put at bay by two individuals who acted totally inappropriately to harass a 62 year old grandpa. If I could give this company a zero rating I would. They consistently don't pay or pay the officers incorrectly. I've been at one site for 3 weeks all 3 weeks were wrong. I quit and took an ops role and the gaurds at that site told me they never get paid correctly and they know gaurds at other sites that have the same issue. This is sounding like a class action suit on the rise. People work, pay them right!!!!! read more
