Our two movers arrived on time and meticulously wrapped and loaded everything very nicely. They…read morewere very courteous and mindful that they were on the clock. We had "one and a half" trips in their 26-foot truck. Not a single Item was broken or scratched. It was raining during our move and the guys did a great job backing their ramp right into our garage, so our furniture and other items wouldn't get wet. We HIGHLY recommend Affordable Movers in the Panama City Beach area!

They stated verbally to us and on their website they have experience doing so. The trailer arrived at the location on 8/29/25 and upon unloading it was discovered the piano had been broken. It was expressed to us by the company we utilized for unloading that the piano had not been packed properly which we also confirmed with a piano repair shop. I have waited to write a review with hopes that Mike would work with us to come to a solution. That is not the case and I am here to at least help other consumers. Affordable Movers is not a company I would trust nor recommend to anyone due to how I was treated during discussions as well as the lack of accountability. We asked for some sort of resolution, even just covering the fee for the estimate for repair which Mike flat out refused. I hope other customers do their diligence and understand what they are getting when they look at Affordable Movers, its affordable for a reason

They were efficient and most importantly our items were in excellent condition. Let's not forget Courtney, the brains of the operation. She clearly stated services along with the reassurance of no hidden fees. She was organized and didn't make me feel bad for asking dumb questions or making changes. I will use Two Men and a Truck again. "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me." - Batman.

I have had many movers in the past move my stuff before while serving this country. But this…read morecompany I would never reccomend. I did better getting a U haul. U haul was only 200 to 300 for 3 days with over 120 miles. It cost me $175 just to move one couch because it took that long with this company. I had everything prepacked and I also did my reasearch and looked up the weight of my items through past purchases online. And it was nowhere the 3k in weight that was put on the bill. If you do plan on using this company. Thouroghly review the papers that you sign. It will be on a tablet but make sure your the one who scrolls through everything. I made the mistake of signing things and the excuse will always be that I signed the black and white. But the problem was Im being told what each one means but the. Findjng out its me signjng sayjng that i did a final walktrhough that there is no damage, etc. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. Being a disabled veteran you could only imagine how hard it was doing 20 trips in a uhaul and still saved more than 50 percent of what I paid them. If you are Military I suggest you look for a different company. Never did a final walktrough and then I find damage on my couch and my front door to my new home. This has ruined me so much mentally that they can stay with the money. The two guys who were working deserve their own company because this type of stuff makes them look bad. This company needs to find a balance for their workers if they want to be succesful. Do better for your employees and you will have a better outcome for your customers. The distance between locations was only 10 to 14 min drive to new location and it cost me over $600 and it took 4 hours. U haul took me 3 days and i paid under $300. The sad part was when my neighbors asked who mkved me and when i mentioned Two Men and a Truck their replies were not pleasant. Update Feb 4th 2026 My move was Dec 24th 2025 Still have not recieved a damage claim form have used BBB and other avenues. This is wrong. This is not how you treat Veterans or anyone else. This is the most horrible company ever. The news should investigate this place. They will ignore you completeley. Straight robbery. They also do weight bumping so if you are a military move do not use. I have proof. Update Feb 6th, 2026 Still no claim form. I have discovered that this company entered a weight of 3,311 lbs at 8:47 AM on my move day--the exact minute they arrived and before a single box was loaded. In my opinion, this is Weight Bumping fraud. They are now trying to deny my damage claim by citing a "96-hour rule" that does not exist in Florida law. I have reported this document falsification to the FDACS (Case #2601-01483) and the BBB. As a Veteran, I am disgusted by these deceptive tactics. I have the digital receipts to prove the timestamp fraud. Check your paperwork carefully before they leave! Update March 19th 2026 False Timeline: Manager Carey Smith told the BBB I was outside a 96-hour window . I have timestamped texts proving I reported damage 2 hours after they left. Billing Fraud: They billed me for a 13-minute drive as 47 minutes of labor (8:00 AM start for an 8:47 AM arrival). The Response: When confronted, the manager admitted they use 'estimated' weights for claims and told me to talk to the Government about their 'Fraudulent Process' I have already escalated this to the Florida Attorney General (MVAP) and FDACS. Veteran customers, beware. This company recorded a "final" weight of 3,311 lbs and forced a "final" signature at 8:47 AM--the exact minute they arrived. They "weighed" and "completed" a move before they even touched a box. CORPORATE OFFICE: This is Case #2601-01483 with the FDACS. If you care about your "Movers Who Care" motto, investigate this franchise (Owner: Sean Wise).
