I am truly grateful that when I was looking online at attorneys in the area to represent me, Jim's website and his qualifications resonated with me more than the others. When you get a ticket that requires a court appearance, you get tons of solicitations from law firms seeking your business. There are some that will even take your case for a promised $99. I think that's a false economy. The retainer I paid, which was quite reasonable, paid for Jim's time, experience, knowledge, and everything you expect it to. But it also paid for his years of building trustworthy relationships with the other people involved in the process, like district attorneys and judges. Jim Doermann's firm is not one of the cut-rate ones, but it's a fairly priced firm and they certainly did a great job for me. It was money very well spent.

I am thanking God that James Doermann handled my legal battle. Knowing how much distress I was in…read more- James represented me when I was having health issues. He gets his work done and is very knowable about how to manage anyone's legal problems be it felony or misdemeanor I highly recommend he and the firm of Doermann & Edwards. They are the best. If there was a 6th star I would give it to them.

Attorney Chris Daniels was amazing through the entire process. Quick response when i called or…read moreemailed him with questions and made sure I understood the process, especially after we had to put in a continuation. I was hit with a reckless driving ticket going 86 in a 70 (ridiculous VA driving laws). Chris went on my behalf since I was out of state and got it knocked down to Defective Equipment and only had to pay the small court fee. No fine or pointe on my license. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome! Highly recommend for your traffic ticket in the Capitol of speed traps, Emporia.

Sadly, I would never refer this firm, especially Mr. Randall to anyone. I contacted this firm…read moreseveral weeks ago to discuss a legal matter. I received a phone call. During that call I was informed that Mr. Randall would be on vacation and scheduled a telephone consultation with Mr.Randall for July 15. Subsequent to that call I received a YELP message to call Mr. Randall on July 13, which I did. After leaving him a short message I received a call from his office on the 14th in response to that message. It seems that the right hand has not communication with the left. We confirmed my July 15 appointment. Later, I received another call confirming the July 15 appointment. July 15 arrives, but no call at 4 pm from Mr. Randall, nor a call either to inform me that he is delayed or to reschedule. I finally called his firm and was shunted between several people. I was informed that he was in conference with a client and would call when he was free. At 6 P.M., Mr. Randall calls. His manner was unprofessional and dismissive. He begins his call by referring to me by my first name. I am a senior lady who has never met this man. I was shocked by his callow and informal behavior. After a brief conversation, I chose to end the call. Obviously, Mr. Randall, the first named partner of this firm has enough to keep him busy.
