I hired Andrea Boyd in August 2023 for a traffic citation. In the beginning everything seemed…read morefine. Whenever I contacted her to get an update pertaining to my case I received a response back but around beginning of the year when I contacted her for an update she seemed like she was a little irritated with me asking for an but she never not once contacted me on her own to give me an update on my case. So moving forward I hadn't contacted her nor heard from her in months. I went on vacation came home and had a letter from state court. I first tried to log on to the client portal and couldn't log on, so I waited until the next day and made a phone call and I asked has she dropped me as a client because I can't log on to the portal. The assistant said no, so I preceded to tell her about my court day and time. She said that the court never sent them anything and everytime they call they're being left on hold and never given any information. So I'm like ok I'm still giving her the benefit of the doubt and trusting in my lawyer. The assistant contacted me back not my lawyer and asked me to upload the court summons to the client portal which I did. I told her that you can barely see it because it looks like a carbon copy. She told me that Andrea will contact me back. Moving forward I went to court and my lawyer did not show up. I gave the judge her name the judge contacted her left a message I contacted her via email and I kept calling the office and no one answered the phone and I still have not received a response back and THIS IS NO WAY A FAKE POST. IF INDEED SHE DROPPED MY CASE LIKE I ASSUMED THAT SHE DID. WHEN I INITIALLY ASKED 2WKS PRIOR SHE COULD HAVE SIMPLY SAID YES AND I COULD'VE LOOKED FOR OTHER COUNSEL. I went to her office that's listed through the job legal plan. We'll I was told she hasn't been at that address for years. This is so unprofessional. I just wanted to get my case settled. Well because my lawyer never showed is was reset for another day.
