It was challenging trying to find an apartment complex that could decently communicate and accommodate my unit preferences but the Grove exceeded my expectations. I fell in love with the unit Allen showed me and I was embarrassed I displayed the tears (I did so many tours, but finally felt home!). I'm on the third floor, but its completely worth it. The property is well-kept and the community has a warm atmosphere. Cody was really nice and answered my question over the phone. He was also attentive and very considerate of my time when I came to pick up the keys. Maintenance is also on point! Sure, they come into the apartment like the kool-aid man, but they get things fixed! I even get follow-up text messages asking if I'm satisfied or if I need anything else! Unfortunately, a recent change in management has completely changed my mind about this apartment complex. We pay our rent through our bank (the bank sends a check). The check was not received by the apartment complex and despite providing proof that the check was sent by our bank, they were unwilling to waive the late fee. Additionally, we never received a notice about lease renewal. When I asked about it, they said we had to terminate our lease 60 days from today (about 10 days after our lease was scheduled to end) even though it was their fault we did not receive the lease renewal letter. We are buying a house and already had a 5 week overlap from the time we closer to the end of our lease. In summary, due to recent management changes, I WOULD NOT recommend Avana Sterling Ridge.
