I've been going back and forth on whether or not to write this review because I genuinely try to give places the benefit of the doubt. I know property management isn't easy, and I know things slip through the cracks sometimes. But at a certain point, you have to call it what it is, and what this is, is a property that collects rent like clockwork but treats maintenance like it's optional.
Let me paint you a picture of what a normal evening looks like in my apartment. I come home, I cook dinner, and within minutes there are flies everywhere. Not the occasional fly that sneaks in when you open the door, I'm talking multiple flies that are just permanently living in my unit rent-free. They're on my food, they're buzzing around my face while I'm trying to relax, they're in my bathroom. It's disgusting. And I'm someone who keeps a clean home. My kitchen is wiped down daily, trash goes out immediately, dishes never sit in the sink. So don't tell me this is a "me" problem.
But the flies are honestly just the tip of the iceberg. I've seen roaches. I've seen bugs I had to Google just to identify. Things crawling along the walls at night, near the windows, around the baseboards. I've spent my own money on traps, sprays, and every home remedy the internet could offer me. None of it makes a lasting difference because this isn't an isolated issue it's structural. It's a building problem being ignored at the management level.
And that's really the core of this review the management. Because bugs happen. Pests happen. That alone wouldn't make me write a review like this. What pushed me over the edge is the absolute indifference from the people running this place. I have submitted request after request after request. I have physically walked into the leasing office and explained the situation to someone's face. Every single time I get the same rehearsed response "We'll get someone on it," "Thanks for letting us know," "We take this seriously." But nothing ever changes. Not a single time has someone followed up with me. Not once has a pest control tech knocked on my door. The requests just disappear into a black hole.
It honestly makes you feel invisible. You're paying thousands of dollars a month to live somewhere, and you can't even get a basic response to a health and sanitation concern. It's not like I'm asking for a renovation I'm asking for someone to come spray for bugs. That's the bare minimum of property maintenance, and they can't even get that right.
What really frustrates me is that this place markets itself as something premium. The website looks great. The leasing agents are friendly when they're trying to get you to sign. The tour hits all the right notes. But once you're locked into that lease, the energy completely shifts. You go from being a valued prospect to being an inconvenience. And that's a terrible feeling when you're paying this much to live somewhere.
I've started looking into my rights as a tenant because at this point, I don't trust management to fix anything on their own. The fact that it's come to that should tell you everything you need to know. I shouldn't have to research Texas tenant law just to get someone to address a bug infestation in my apartment.
To anyone reading this please take these reviews seriously. I wish I had. I saw a few negative ones before I moved in and brushed them off. I figured every complex has a couple of unhappy people. But now I get it. These reviews aren't from difficult tenants. They're from normal people who are fed up with paying for a standard of living they're not receiving. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more
