    I Bought a brand new vehicle from a dealership. Part of the $34,000 package I bought was to have…read morecustom leather put in. The dealership uses Auto Styles to do their leather and insisted they do great work. When I consulted with the sales man, John, I showed him a design I wanted stitched in the headrest. He said it would be no problem at all! After a week, I got my car back and the leather looked great, but unfortunately the design I requested was in the complete WRONG spot and WRONG font. Okay, that's fine, mistakes happen. I was really pleasant about the error, and he handled it well. He told me he would let me know when the new piece arrives and they'd call me to bring my vehicle in. A week and a half went by and I still hadn't heard anything so I decided to phone him. He forgot to put the order in. Wow. This isn't looking so good. He assured me he put the order in immediately after we talked. TWO weeks goes by, and again, I hear nothing back. Holy shit, he forgot to call and tell me it was in. (are you fkn kidding me?) I set the appointment and asked if he can have someone either pick up or drop off my vehicle (I live exact opposite of Edmonton to their shop) I figured it's the least they could do after such terrible service. Unfortunately he "just couldn't do it". When I finally went to pick up my vehicle, let's keep in mind it's almost rush hour on yellowhead, the Hot Head in the back told me I couldn't have my keys because john wanted to talk to me, and to go wait up front. Considering it was -25, my keys would be nice to at least let my car run but he wouldn't give them to me. After 15 minutes of waiting and no sign of John, I went to the back to ask for my keys once more, and that I needed to leave, I was already going to be late for something and that I had absolutely no reason to talk to John. Mr. Hot Head refused to give me my keys, told me he would start my car for me (which he didn't) and then yelled at me to go wait for John. I was absolutely livid at this point. I am a young female, and I feel like he completely took advantage of that and WITH HELD MY PROPERTY. When John finally got to the shop, he went to grab the keys where I heard Mr. Hot Head yelling at him full force. John came up and laughed it off, put my keys on the counter and sheepishly (get ready for this, it's actually APPALLING) asked me for 100 dollars for labor. I stared at him with a smile on my face thinking it was a joke. Nope, he was dead serious. He wanted me to pay for their (several) fuck ups. I couldn't believe it! Now that makes sense why Mr. Hot Head (let's stop beating around the bush) Mr. Coke Head* wouldn't let me leave before John came back. I can't believe the series of events that took place with these bozos. The work is done well but the business side of things is mayhem. I wouldn't suggest giving them you're money.

False promises, excuse after excuse week after week for almost a year. I bought my vehicle from a dealership in 2011 with the leather already placed in the vehicle by Auto Styles Plus. One year later (2012) I noticed the leather in the back seat where the cup holders are was not sewn in properly, and the leather on the front passenger seat and the driver seat was starting to fade out and look worn beyond what it should look like. So in August of 2012 the dealership booked an appointment at the dealership for me to meet with Jon, he said he would be replacing the leather in the back (cup holder) and the two front seats. Jon gave me the run around for over a year. Making appointments and then breaking the appointment dates again and again. I finally was so stressed out that I thought "forget it". But then in February of 2015 the seats went to their ultimate worse state the leather has now cracked and broke open on the seats it looks beyond it's years, and I maintain my vehicle. I thought that I would give Auto Styles Plus one more go, and see if they could help me. Jon promised that every thing would be taken care of, when he looked at my vehicle in February of this year (2015). Then the excuses started... the company has not sent out the leather, they sent the wrong leather, I don't have all the parts, I have everything but I need to re-book again, sorry it's to busy this week, I didn't think you confirmed for today, I have it covered under warranty, wait no I didn't say I had it covered under warranty, oh no wait it is covered under warranty. Then he started to sweeten the deals for his poor work efforts I will replace all the leather in the vehicle because I wasted your time, I know someone at Ming and we will have your car detailed (cleaned) as well. It is now mid October and there is an excuse and a lie every week as to why the vehicle has not been done. The text messages that Jon sends are Obscene and are an embarrassment for the reputation of a company name.There are "accidental" personal text messages to other women. He will never call he only texts. He talked about not being able to find a girlfriend or keep a girlfriend. He has left messages about his child's mother on my phone saying that she is "useless", so inappropriate and none of my business. I have had enough, I don't believe I have ever met or dealt with such a poorly run business in my life. The sad thing is I highly doubt he would treat a male or send another male the texts and the excuses they gave to me. This business has no worth ethic or any sort of reliability. I have made a complaint into Katzkin Canada (Auto Styles leather distributor), Katzkin was very understanding about what was happening with the leather in my car. Katzkin was were unaware of how long I have had the run around with Auto Style Plus to have the leather redone. It wasn't a problem for them to cover it under warranty as soon as they heard what the issue was; however, I believe it is Auto Style Plus who do not and have not wanted to replace the leather without getting money for labor work...The same labor work that should have been done under the original warranty back in 2012. I want to be clear when I say it is not the leather manufacturers fault it is Auto Style Plus Yellowhead Trail location that is the problem.

    Do not take any vehicle here for paint protection film or any work for that matter. Dean and Ed are…read morenot in the automotive service business for quality nor attention to detail. They're about getting vehicles in and out as quick as possible and collecting your money. They will over promise and under deliver. My final price was different than the initial in person quote and they never finished the job in the timeline stated. Multiple appointments were made for "warranty" and nothing being fixed or redone just excuses. They would want to cut areas that had dirt, peeling/lifting. I paid for protection not to have the car cut up missing film and looking like a hackjob. Countless amount of areas lifting, peeling, micro bubbles on a brand new vehicle within the first month and more after winter storage. They will say 10 year warranty cause XPEL states that but take that with a grain of salt cause they are not a legitimate XPEL dealer nor care once they have your money. XPEL corporate had to assign my vehicle to another shop after acknowledging the numerous issue with my car stating "lifting of the edges can occur if the film is not properly tacked down during install. The "bubbles" you see seem to be debris and / or moisture or air left under the film. This is definitely not the place to be taking a 250k+ car.

I purchased some seats out of a wrecked vehicle and wanted the covers swapped over to the seats in my vehicle. I also wanted them to repair some trim pieces (this was priced after the fact). I told them i wanted everything to look brand new. $1300 quote The quote listed: Switch over seat covers $500 Fix and repair bolsters / inserts $700 Clean $100 Great, they gave me a decent quote and i went ahead with their service. They told me they had to order some swede so it'll take a few days. They kept the seats from the wrecked vehicle to take the covers off and repair them. I didn't receive any calls for a couple weeks so i called to see what was going on. They told me the seats were done and to bring my vehicle in.. where was my call? Anyways.. i bring my vehicle in to have the covers swapped over. They said it'll take them a couple days. I ask to see the repairs and i notice they have the covers installed on the old seats. (these seats will not work on my truck as they have different power functions) They were most likely just trying to take a shortcut but blame it on miscommunication.. Fine, i leave them my vehicle and tell them to put those covers on the existing seats in my vehicle. Couple days later i get a call saying the foam on the seat covers and my seats are not compatible and it'll be an extra $600. I was very hesitant on that price but ultimately agreed. Turns out after calling some other upholstery places after the fact that the $600 was indeed a rip off. Anyways, i get a call the next day to come pick up my vehicle. I go there and they give me the bill. The bill: $2357.25 switch over seat covers$500 Fix and repair bolsters / inserts $700 Replace foam $600 Clean $100 Repair trim $300 (this price was agreed upon) Shop supplies $45 I notice that they didn't repair the inserts on my seats they only cleaned them. I question them and they once again blame it on miscommunication. They tell me that this was not included in their initial quote (which it 100% was) and try to charge me an additional $400. I basically tell them to kick rocks and fix it. They agree. I come back the next day and the seats look decent.. not great but decent. Drivers seat does not match. At this point i'm over it.. I go to pay and this is the new bill they gave me. Completely different from the previous day. The bill: $2488.50 Switch over seat covers $500 Fix and repair seat covers $750 ?? Replace foam $600 Clean $100 Repair trim $375 ?? Shop supplies $45 I question them on it and they tell me that the trim actually was supposed to be $375 (unlike we agreed on) but had no excuse for the extra $50 on the seat repairs. At this point this is laughable. I tell them to give me yesterdays bill and they do it without hesitation as if they got caught. I get home and here's what i find. Broken piece under the seat, seats are not clean, absolutely disgusting rear pouches in the back of the seats. Take from this what you will but this is place is an absolute joke. They give you a decent quote then up charge. The job they did on the repair was decent, aside from the fact that they tried to get away with cleaning instead of repairing. The clean is atrocious and that is evident from these pictures. They left broken pieces without mention. They literally tried to charge more than the previous day in hopes that i wouldn't notice, so that sums up their customer service.
