Round 1: I filed a roof claim. The adjuster they sent didn't even get on my roof. Two sides of my house? Completely ignored because they were behind a locked gate. Apparently, walking around a house or using a ladder is "above their pay grade." I went back to my agent, Carlos, and resubmitted, only to be denied the chance for a reinspection. Strike one. Round 2 (Five years later): Hailstorm hits. All my neighbors get new roofs from their insurance companies. I file again. State Farm sends out another "expert" who doesn't even know what hail splatter is--and has to ask my contractor to explain it. Yes, you read that right: the contractor had to educate the adjuster. I asked for a different adjuster and sent in extra photos at their request. Then I waited. And waited. And waited some more... only to be completely ghosted for a month and then denied without any explanation. Not even a "thanks for playing." I had weather reports, date-stamped photos, and a clear trail of evidence--but apparently, none of that matters to Snake Farm. Save yourself the stress. When disaster strikes, the last thing you need is an insurance company that's as helpful as an empty umbrella in a hurricane. Like a horrible neighbor, State Farm is a nightmare.

The existing shingles color are light gray and the shingle samples provided by State Farm for the repair are close to black color. Despite the manufacturer's emails stating that their shingles will not match in color over time, I ended up with patched roof with different colors. I reached out to Mark for help on a few occasions and he was included in all the emails with State Farm after we requested only written communication. Mark and his agency did not help us at all with this situation. I wish I could include the pictures, so you all could see how ridiculous this is. Keep away from State Farm and this agency!
