After moving to Oregon, I transferred from my prior State Farm agent (who was fantastic). Within 3 months of moving over to Don, my monthly car insurance jumped an outrageous 34%. I continued asking Don's team for an auto policy summary request, that breaks down in a line itemized manner where the increases were coming from. The team there simply couldn't explain the math to me, nor could they get me the document that I asked for. I got on the phone with Don, and got a total run around. "Hey so sorry about this. I can't really do anything about it, but if you get into an accident I'll get you the best payout I can." What? This was atrocious. I eventually was able to get my prior agent to coach Don's team on how to procure the document. She jumped on the phone with them, and even after coaching them on what to do - they still couldn't procure an understanding & explanation on why my premium jumped so high despite no changes in my circumstances. Eventually I decided, after being a loyal customer to State Farm for more than 25 years, to seek out insurance elsewhere after my experience with Don Clark & team. I called them & emailed them with more than 2.5 months advanced notice that I was terminating my policy. I got multiple assurances, including emails documenting that they were successful in setting an end date to conclude the policy. I assumed that we were all set - and sure enough, the month after the policy concluded, there's a bill for State Farm on my credit card statement. I reached out to Zeline on Don's staff, trying to understand what was happening despite having an email confirmation that the policy would successfully be concluded. Sure enough, they dropped the ball & didn't confirm the termination of the policy. They couldn't do a reversal on the charge, they told me. So I had to wait for more than a month for a refund to be mailed as a check despite being told it would arrive in 5 days. When I tried to understand what the amount of the refund would be, they couldn't tell me - simply told me "we do not handle billing." Honestly, this group should not be operating as a business on behalf of State Farm. It's a truly atrocious group and I would never recommend working with them. Stay away. Absolute incompetence.
