They got in the system and told me my automatic payments was "cancelled ", no explanation about and never notified of any problem. The only solution was to get a new policy. I ended up paying "nowadays prices", hundreds of dollars over just because their lack of responsibility, not taking care of their clients policies. A claim was submitted on January 2, 2026, and they have had all required documentation from the start--police report, photos, repair estimate--and they verified that the insured was current. Despite this, more than 30 days have passed and no payment has been issued for minor damages. I have made over six phone calls, only to be given the runaround every time. There is no sense of urgency, accountability, or concern for the people affected by their delays. My assigned adjuster, Rafael Hernandez, has failed to do his due diligence to move this claim toward resolution. Because of this delay, I have been out of work since the accident and cannot return until my vehicle is repaired. Other insurance companies are able to issue checks on the scene or resolve claims quickly--United has done the opposite. This company appears to avoid paying claims for as long as possible, regardless of the impact on claimants. I would strongly discourage anyone from using United Automobile Insurance Company. If you value responsiveness, professionalism, or timely claim handling, look elsewhere.

As luck would have it, i got bashed while parked in a garage...and now was told no, we don't have a record of the call but there's no way we would have said that because you were not covered! But the WORST part was, Metlife said okay if you were told you were covered, we'll cover it anyway. And THEN Willis changed their story to "we remember the call and we said you were not covered." I called Scott Willis and talked to him, he said he'd get back to me--and then stopped taking my calls.
