I filled out the paperwork, mailed it in and a couple weeks later, I called the office and spoke with Christine who said she received it, stopped the direct deposit, and said it was being processed. Two weeks later on March 30th, I received a past due notice from State Farm. I called this morning, was put on hold to speak with Christine and immediately after I said my name, she bluntly said "I never received your paperwork back that I mailed to you on Jan 16. You never returned it!" I was taken aback because I actually spoke with her over the phone two weeks prior and she confirmed the paperwork was received. When I reminded her of that call, she said, oh, let me look in the paper file. She did find it and said it was still being processed and I should ignore the notices. And to have a nice day. Wow, the accusing tone when she first got on the phone was so disappointing. How can I have a good day when I was accused so rudely? I hope she was just having a bad day... but please don't take it out on me when you're not sure of the facts!
