First off, I had been trying to call multiple State Farm offices for a while - kept getting routed to the toll free number. Toll free customer service agents told me they can't offer quotes effective Jan 1, 2023. And to keep trying local agents. I started asking friends, family members & clients for recommendation (even solicited Nextdoor and FB recommendations) When I was finally able to reach a 'live' person at this location, I was thrilled. But my joy quickly turned to sadness as I was told that Ms. Reid was too busy to speak to me. I don't understand this at all. No offer to take a message and get back to me. Don't get me wrong - the gentlemen who answered the call told me there were other agents who could assist me. So I asked, "Are you one of the other agents?" And he said yes. I declined because - 1) I had 2 people recommend Ms. Reid, specifically, so I wanted to speak to her and potentially give her my business and 2) this gentleman used some weird phrasing at the start of the call and his communication during the call made me feel like his English / our communication might be a struggle. I think he said something like "What would Ms. Reid be advising you about?" before he checked to see if he had time to speak to me. I got the impression that I'm a little too 'down home' or 'country' for this office. Lol. Based on this - I decided to call another State Farm office. I was sincerely hoping this is not indicative of how State Farm treats it's customers. I reached out to Shannon Perren's office in Powder Springs and spoke to Crystal. She was able to provide a very reasonable quote within 15 minutes.

The insurance agency from the link above dropped the ball HARD on the transfer and LIED about how long it would take to do a simple transfer of insurance from one state to another. I reached out to my old agency in North Carolina for assistance. Natalie Reid was highly recommended by them, so they made the connection. Within LESS than an HOUR, ALL of my insurance needs were taken care of by Leanne Sturgeon. Brittany Astin stated that she was out of office but would immediately get me linked with another person at the office to get me taken care of. Leanne not only called me directly, but she explained everything to me, how long certain things would take and assured me that MY part in all of this was done. She emailed me a binder and we're all set. I was so pleased that I decided to transfer my renters policy to Natalie Reid (I had to contact the 800 number for this, as Leanne advised that they couldn't do it directly...otherwise it would look as though they were "taking" a customer from the agency mentioned in the link above). If I could give zero stars, I would. Please be aware of my experience with Stallings Insurance. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Over the years, my homeowners insurance premiums continued to increase by hundreds of dollars, and despite repeatedly reaching out to the agency with questions about these increases, I received little to no response. I have emails documenting my attempts to get answers. What is especially frustrating is that when I eventually left a negative review, the agency suddenly responded and acted surprised that I was unhappy. My response was simple: this was the most responsive they had been. I ultimately decided I no longer wanted to work with the agency and obtained replacement insurance. When I recently tried to cancel my homeowners policy, I was again unable to get timely assistance from Stallings. I had to contact the Company directly to find out how to cancel the policy without going through the Stallings. Based on my experience, I felt like the focus was on continuing to collect money rather than providing the level of service and communication I would expect from an insurance agency. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this agency to do their research, ask questions about how their premiums are changing, and make sure they can actually get a response when they need one. My wife was hit from behind and the car was only a year old. After being directed to a repair shop near our home; the vehicle was repaired. The premiums increased tremendously. The writing was on the wall, we left State Farm. 4 years later, the back hatch was damaged accidentally, brought to a different repair shop and they noticed yellow grease pencil marks indicating damage that was mentioned to be repaired. This was covered up by the rear carpet and unseen until now. Had to contact State Farm; as the repair company was bought out. The current company, Wren's, said they were not doing warrantee for the bought out repair shop, Brian's. Due to State Farm's repair policy, I contacted them. They said they would 'research' the issue. Came back to tell me it was not one of their 'select service shops' and warranty work would not be covered. This is NOT warrantee work, rather incomplete work that was paid for but not done. Their final work from a 'claims specialist', Christy; "The work that was done was from a non-select service shop. State Farm has no obligation to warranty and repair the 4 year old damage." State Farm directed me to this repair shop due to being close to my house. The first estimate was for $6K worth of damage and ended up paying out more than $15K of damage. Which was never completed. Now, they do not want to complete this work. Typical big company searching for some way to not complete what they directed to have corrected. If I could select no stars in this review; I would have!
