Really poor customer service. I'm giving this rating after as a long term (soon to be ex) client.

I should have checked Yelp first -- these guys have an A+ BBB rating; perhaps people are be-rating (ahem) them here before reporting them there. I gave them two stars, because they recommended I go with Geico or Progressive. Hahahahah. They gave me a quote that was too good to believe -- Perhaps it was the spotless driver quote. I had an accident a year ago that I had assumed relegated me to the ranks of the higher paying crowds. When I called them back, they said that I didn't qualify because of that accident. Perhaps they are afraid I would actually generate paperwork -- who ever heard of an insurance company who didn't want a customer that needs to pay more? So -- a quote *without* looking at my driving record, and then CYA without even an attempt at a quote. I'm paying enough that they would have plenty of chances to beat it ;). Time to reset all of my financial projections.. And meanwhile; thanks for recommending I go somewhere else.. read more

I have bundled my car and home insurance with another company at a lower rate, and this place is not letting me cancel, so I'm being double billed. Sent an email and got a message back to call customer service. Then I called customer service and they said that I need to send a fax with old and new policy numbers. Who has fax machines these days? Not helpful at all. read more

I wouldn't do business with this company. They use offshore companies to make illegal calls to cell phones using robo dialers to generate leads, then the DeJesus agency will call you. I'm shocked that an Allstate affiliate would engage in this type of practice. It's really disgraceful. Of course, it's not "illegal" for the DeJesus agency as they're not the ones actually making the illegal calls to cell phones on the Do Not Call list, but they're certainly using the service. Go with an agency with better integrity and business practices. read more

They deserve negative stars. 4 Unwanted sales call in less than an hour with no messages and no escalation to manager avaialable. Bad sales practices -run to another agent! Also rate she gave was almost 4 times my current policy. read more

AVOID- Dishonest and Deceitful Short Story: Refused to cancel my policy then when he realize that was not going to fly tried to convince me not to. Long Story: I switched my insurance to a different agency in order to save money. I mailed a cancellation request to the De Jesus agency. I waited about a week and my policy had not been cancelled. I called, they asked that I email them a cancellation request. I did. No response for a couple of days so I emailed them again. No response again for a couple of days. I then called the corporate customer service center they put in a cancellation request. The very next day I got a call from Edwin De Jesus trying to explain to me that the new policy that I was purchasing would not be offering the same coverage. Blatantly ignoring my requests to cancel my policy then having the audacity to try to prove your worth to me? Not going to work. Deceitful, dishonest, and does not have the customer's interests in mind. read more

I have never had such a terrible experience with an insurance company. I would not recommend anyone to due business with the De Jesus agency. The employees have no idea what they are doing and the owner Edwin DeJesus could care less about the terrible customer service his employees are providing to paying customers. I had a closing delayed because of his employee and he didn't even apologize when I informed him, not only that he was included on the emails where his agent was not responding to me or the mortgage company. The agent also lied about not receiving information from the mortgage company when it was all in email where he had actually received the information the week before and lied to me and said he didn't receive it. Customer service and accuracy is the last thing this agency cares about, all they want is to collect your money. Just like the previous negative review the quotes I received were half of the actual cost. DO NOT RELY ON THEIR QUOTES THEY ARE NOT REAL, and the agent took it upon himself when he quoted me incorrectly and charged my credit card incorrectly to just run my credit card for the difference without my consent. read more

Not a great experience at all. I was refunded a portion of my auto policy in March due to Allstates and their 3rd party inspection service (CARCO) losing my car inspection report. I am not someone who regularly checks their insurance, only to use or renew, so I initially took some blame when I found out in December that I was not fully covered. Luckily, or so I thought, I had saved my receipt from the inspection and shared that with Allstate. This is where everything went south. Instead of receiving a prorate on the insurance amount due to not having that coverage from March to December, Allstate dinged me with the entire premium. Through numerous phone calls and escalations, many of the folks I spoke with agreed it doesn't make sense that I provided the proof and was made to pay a premium for a period I was not covered, essentially being penalized for a mistake Allstate and their 3rd party made. However, in the end, there was nothing they could do as premiums were controlled at a corporate level, shocker. All and all, I would never use Allstate again and would never recommend them to anyone as contrary to their slogan, you are not a good hands with them. read more

They called me three days ago asking for money to lock down insurance which I didn't have together. Called them back the next day to pay and was told I'd receive a call back after he finished his phone call. Hours later after no call back I decided to call them and was hung up on 3 times in a row. Finally got a hold of the agent who said I'd receive a call back the next morning. No call, no email no idea how to run a business. read more

Loving this insurance co. There attention to their client accounts are great. They just saved me a ton of money and have the best rental insurance premiums I have found. I would stay very far away from these guys. They were incredibly misleading when it came to my home owners insurance. Terrible experience .

I started shopping for Auto insurance in 2014 for better and competitive rates than what I was paying as I moved from PA to MA. After shopping around I purchased an auto policy with Dejesus All state in 2014 for $1082, they talked me into getting a life insurance and I purchased that as well for an additional cost of $195. The process was very smooth. When it came to my renewal in 2015, I got a call and I got an email from Dejesus agency saying that my premium had increased to $1398 for auto insurance. I have been an excellent driver with no bad records what so ever. The agent said if enrolled in easy-pay automatic debit from bank, I will get additional discount. I enrolled into the same. The next thing I knew was that my account was debited for $1398 with no discount as promised. I call Dejesus agency and I was told that the easy pay discount was from Dec2014 to Feb 2015 and Since my renewed policy started in March 2015, I was not eligible for the same. I informed the agent what I was promised and the agent would not reimburse the mone as promised. I took this to the supervisor but everything went in circles and circles. At that point I decided that I was not going to proceed with them for the next renewal cycle. So, on Feb 29th,16 I called, spoke with agent Ken Caselli and cancelled both my auto and life insurance with them. The next thing I saw was that my bank was debited for $195 for life insurance. I called the agent and spoke in Billing with Agent Juan Diaz. I was informed that all state was waiting to hear from me to cancel the policy when I had already cancelled by calling on Feb 29th. The funny thing is that my renewal date is March 19th and I was now calling the second time on March 15th, to cancel and the agent Juan Diaz tells me that I will not be getting full refund and he wanted me to send policy cancellation documents sent. All of this was excruciating and painful. To make things worst the agent had me email him the cancellation documents four times. "They would not accept papers with digital electronic signatures" Anyways, this is extremely painful and it seems that they do not care for business from their customers. Plus I am still waiting to get my refund back. Being far from truth, not upholding to the promises made to customer's and cheating , are some of the reasons why I strongly suggest not getting your insurance policies with All State at De jesus Agency located at Rhode Island. read more
