A month later, I had still not received my 2019 refund that was supposed to be mailed as a paper check. June 21, I go back to check on my my refund status for 2019. The clerk had a very nasty attitude (most of the staff have attitudes) and said I should call the IRS. I called the IRS on June 27. It turns out that whoever prepared my taxes did not include my apartment number and didn't even bother to ask me for it. Now, the IRS has to put a trace on my check and I have to wait an additional 6 weeks for my refund. As of yet, I have not received my 2021 refund either. Not only will I not use their very unprofessional services again, but if anyone asks, I'll tell them to stay the hell away from Burns Rodriguez and associates!!!

I walked in about 30 minutes before closing on a weekday, told them what I needed at the check-in counter, filled out a form, had a passport-style photo taken, and was out the door in about 15 minutes. Amazing. The facility is large and clean, with a waiting area. They also handle DMV-type services, and you can tell that part of the operation can get frustrating for some customers -- there were signs all over the check-in area asking people to be respectful and not harass the employees. For my visit and transaction though, everything was smooth and extremely pleasant. They take credit cards and there's plenty of parking in the lot.

Living in…read moreRye NY I had intended to go to the DMV office in White Plains; but due to the recent extremely cold snowy weather coinciding with the DMV upgrading their computer software system I was unable to make an online appointment to renew my license at the DMV White Plains office until almost 2 weeks later and this would be after my license expired. As I will not drive with an expired license I started searching for an alternative DMV location where I could renew my license. After checking numerous other offices I was able to secure an appointment at the DMV Nanuet office for the very next day with a drive of only 35 minutes from my home. The Nanuet AAA DMV office is located in Rockland Plaza which has lots of parking space. The office is very modern, spacious and well organized. The staff there are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and my license was quickly renewed in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommended.
