After providing her with the exact same information as I had given the other companies, she said she could not provide a quote. Apparently Miller's does not have access to a wide variety of products since I later called another agency and again had no problem getting a quote using the same details. Maybe Kate didn't want my business or didn't want to be bothered on a Friday afternoon. But I found that other local agencies were much more helpful and had no problem finding suitable products for me.

Called two weeks ago to have them run quotes for my car and home to see if a bundle was an option. Spoke with Nancy who got all my info and called me back to confirm a few things. Never heard back with a quote. Called today and she was like I don't even remember speaking to you. (That's good to say to your customer)!! Never did the quotes and then kept asking if I wanted her to run numbers. I was like YES! She said "well I'm just telling you everything is 6 months now, so not sure how much help this will be". I said forget it. You can tell she did NOT want to do her job and run quotes. Had the same thing happen in January with Andrew. I had to call repeatedly to switch my car. I was also told by him that my carrier provided Gap coverage, found out today that was a lie! Do not go here! They are lazy and do not want to work. We will be switching to another agency. Their loss!

Brenda Hurley and Nationwide are both absolute crooks! We changed auto insurance because her prices…read morewere three times the price for full coverage with Erie insurance so we canceled our policy. We thought we cut ties with them until we started to get a bill in the mail and so we called Brenda Hurley who had no clue what was going on. She suggested we call the 1800 number, when we called the 1-800 number they finally explained that a paper was not filed and that we had to write another letter of cancellation. We were promised that the insurance was canceled and that we will be receiving a refund. We did receive a refund and then a few months later we received another bill from Nationwide. Once again Brenda Hurley, her team, and Nationwide dropped the ball and have no clue what's going on. We finally thought we had everything settled and are now being told that because of a glitch in the computer system they over paid us in the refund check. Brenda Hurley still doesn't know what's going on and the only thing she can tell us is to pay the balance or call the 1800 number again. Brenda I would go as far as saying a chronic pot user would have more of a clue about what's going on around them then you ! Brenda you have been in business too long, god only knows how you made it this long with such piss poor customer service it's time to retire and go out of business!!! Your father would not approve of your disgraceful business practices. I have been with you guys for some years now. Honestly if it wasn't for Liz. I might have tried another agency, just because they say once you get older, your car insurance goes down. So I wanted to try to shop around. But everytime I thought about it. "I said wait, there won't be another Liz, at another agency if I leave". Because she is one of a kind. She is extremely patient. She shows empathy. She is beyond kind. She is very knowledgeable, in which I am big on. Because I actually do understand my policies, as I be been driving for 20 years. She makes sure before that phone hangs up your questions were answered and YOU understand your part with your policy. Her conversation is not just professional but comfortable, while shes also giving a personable experience. She lets me know and I'm pretty sure other policy holders know. That she is there for us. Her consumers and that's how it should be. She does not just value her position, but her clients as well. Of course we all have bills and they are high especially gas. So when I think I'm calling in and I'm not having a good day, because I have to pay for what I need. Liz turns my frown upside down. I have 20 years plus in customer service experience myself. I'm big on it. She assures me that no matter what is going on at the moment. Making sure this is taking care of is priority. But she does it in a magnificent way. She helps my day. Only if there was a Liz everywhere I had to call to handle my living expenses or get a customer service experience. The world would be great again. Liz is truly the best. Please praise her on her expertise, confidence, due diligence, knowledge, patients, compassion and much more. If I was just coming into the insurance world. I would definitely want Liz to train me. We had always done our own taxes, but last year we bought a house and weren't able to factor in the…read moreNew Home Owners Tax Credit on our own. I forget how I even heard about Colvin. I'm guessing it was some kind of mailer, but I'm glad fate directed me their way. It's a pretty unassuming location, I almost drove right past it the first time. The place itself seems to be run out of the porch of someones home ( The Colvins?). Far from being awkward, however, it gives it a very homey and comforting feel. Right down to the family photos, cookies and coffee, that greet you when you walk in It was such a good experience the first time that even though it was just a simple filing this year, I used them again. Both times, my agent was Barbara Conn. She was like that wise aunt, who always gives you really good advice. She was an expert at getting the maximum refund , right down to how many loads of laundry you do per year. Little tidbits like that make it worth the effort. Since I've never done any other tax service or software program, I can't cpompare it to anything. Their fee has been in the $200 range, but that seems worth it to me based on the amount they get me back. I'm thinking that only people in this area would use Colvin, and I hope they do. It may even be worth your time for you city folk to trek out here to get the Colvin treatment.
