Horrible service here. Was a customer for 11 years, not 1 claim, and was never contacted by this…read moreagent for anything. I've reached out to them on occasion to see about improving rates and coverage. They would respond but never really helpful. Now they cancelled my home owners insurance because of granular loss. My roof is 7 years old and an experienced roofer noted it was fine for at least another 2-3 years. This agent sent me 1 letter and nothing else, not a 1 phone call to let me know. What if I didn't get that letter... In this letter they sent me I quote "Please keep in mind that you may also be eligible for this type of coverage through other insurance providers". It's like they wanted to get rid of me, maybe before I did make a claim. Like gambling, get out while you're ahead. I ask him about this and his only response "I have no control over your roof". Thought he would have control over my policy or at least assist with it. Nope just let it get cancelled. I've paid them over $20,000 in my time with them with no service or anything in return. Go to state Farm, that agent at least acted like they cared, unlike my 11 year experience with this agent. Seems to me he's only there to collect a paycheck.

And you find out the hard way! There are reputable, good companies out there that do business the right way! Call them! Call around! I would give Farm Bureau Insurance zero stars if possible. I have never been treated so poorly and…read morelied to by an auto insurance company. Their insured backed into my daughter's car last Friday afternoon. I attempted to file a claim with just the insured persons name, vehicle type and license plate number and was told I couldn't file a claim without additional information. I explained that their insured refused to provide additional information and left the scene of the accident. I was again told sorry we cannot assist you. Their insured had called Farm Bureau to report the accident and gave them our information. After their investigator spoke with my daughter, who is a minor without my presence or permission about the accident, my daughter was told by the claims investigator she was required to provide Farm Bureau pictures and video of the accident. The pictures and video given to Farm Bureau showed their insured member was clearly at fault. I was told by their claims investigator when I called to follow up that Farm Bureau will not pay to fix my daughter's car. Their reason was the video we provided only shows one angle of the collision and things may look different from a different angle. If I want my daughter's car fixed I will have to cover the cost of my deductible and have my Insurance cover the claim. So instead of taking responsibility for their insured's distracted driving accident and doing the right thing, Farm Bureau is making this as messy and difficult as possible. I also feel my daughter was totally exploited. Farm Bureau's claim investigator took advantage of the fact she is a naïve teenager and made my daughter believe it was her responsibility to track down and provide them the accident video, pictures and other information which they then twisted to refuse to pay the claim.
