Every agent is rude and refuses to take responsibility for their own errors. They failed to provide information to my mortgage company after many repeated requests and never reached out to me regarding the renewal policy. It was like pulling teeth to get a bill and policy. By the time this was completed and the mortgage company paid the policy it had lapsed. They never told me the policy was in danger of cancelling or even when it did cancel. I found out when the company returned my premium funds. They claim it is not their responsibility to monitor or communicate regarding my policy. If so, why are you even my agent? I have pulled every policy type from them, this is the last. They are horrible at representation and rude to boot! Add to this that my actual agent is unreachable, you have to deal with the office representatives. Why would you want an agent that is too busy to even speak to you. Stay far far away.

A+ for loan approval process and speed…read more F- for everything else. Applied for a loan and was quickly approved. The issue was, that the check was for more than the vehicle contract amount. As a result, I reached out to see if they could just wire the correct amount to the dealer. NFCU would not wire to the dealer. This makes little sense, as wiring it to the dealer would be the most secure option, and would ensure their security of the collateral. Instead, I was given the option to either request a direct deposit of the original funds amount to my account, then wiring it myself to the dealer or reapply for a new loan of the new amount. They would not even reissue the check for a lower amount. I chose to have the funds direct deposited. WHAT A MISTAKE. The process started on Thursday evening, and funds were finally deposited on Wednesday. At that point, I call in to do a wire transfer. I'm then told that it can't be done over the phone, and that I would have to send it as a secure message. The wire process is now slated to take 24-48 hours... That's pretty unheard of for an institution of their size. Wires are designed to have the money be sent within minutes. All in all, the whole process added over a week of delay to the process. Had I known it was this bad, I would have just reapplied on the phone Thursday night, overnighted the check, and had it by Saturday. NFCU should seriously reconsider their processes. These inefficiencies will seriously turn away newer member. Also, prior to this whole ordeal, the dealer told me that they would accept the check, but that they would have to wait until it cleared before allowing me to pick up the car... seems like they themselves have had to deal with these inefficiencies.

First, I registered on the H&R Block (North Prov) website. I was assigned to a lady named Diane. She was positively wonderful. I had brought all the necessary paperwork in a folder with me. I also had a good amount of paperwork that was sent to me by my employer but was not necessary. Diane patiently organized everything for me. The software at H&R Block is exceptional. Everything is very straightforward and easy to understand plus Diane explained everything. Once Diane had set everything up on the computer, we went through everything and I electronically signed each document. By the way, the North Providence office has recently been renovated. I do not know what it looked like previously but it is a very calming environment. The young lady at the front desk was also friendly and cordial. What a great atmosphere, and the service was exceptional.
