Started the conversation off talking to me like I was stupid... then proceeded to continue to give me attitude. I do not recommend this place to anybody. I was told he was going to look for an insurance company for me and contact me back. I called at 11 AM this morning, and never heard back from him. So I just called, he picked up again... I forgot to get his name, but he proceeded to tell me that he was unable to find anything for me. That's fine, but at least have the decency to call me back and tell me. And if you have that much of an attitude over your job, you should probably pick a different career. I found a better company that is willing to work with me and help me with whatever I need. Again I will never recommend this company to anybody, horrible customer service!!!!!

Adk trust told me they wouldn't lend to me because I lived in a trailer park. Sorry I leave below my means? I felt very looked down upon and chose to bank elsewhere. That loan was since paid off. Never missed a payment. Adk trust will never have my business.

My wife and I secured a construction loan on a foreclosed property that would need a total…read morerenovation. We had to meet an aggressive timeline in order to make our closing date on time. Our real estate agent recommended Loan Officer John Hersey and NBT. That recommendation could not have worked out better. The process required the completion of a lot of paperwork and coordination with lawyers, Insurance Agents, Inspectors and various other individuals involved with the sale. This was complicated further by the fact we live in Atlanta, Georgia and the property is in North River, New York. Only through Mr. Hersey's attention to detail and excellent communication skills were we able to make the closing date on time. I will definitely recommend NBT and specifically Mr. Hersey to anyone who is looking to secure a mortgage.

They have botched the simplest of procedures and caused mental and physical damage to their client. Not just one time- SEVERAL. From not removing information from a credit report to losing documents multiple times and putting their client into a state of depression having to continue to call and check that they do what has been verbally stated as "taken care of". This lack of professionalism and courtesy cost their client an opportunity to move on from their institution and get a better chance at financial stability in these troubled times. However, no, because of the incompetent staff at this location and in the other departments that this client has had to try and work with. I would tell anyone, THERE IS NOTHING TRUSTWORTHY ABOUT THIS FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.
