Robin Patterson is one of the nicest, smartest, most knowledgeable account representatives I've ever encountered. She has helped me with several times I have had questions or concerns over my auto insurance policy, and she has a very soothing, reassuring telephone voice that calms any nervousness away. The most recent time she helped me was when there was some system glitch that said I owed my December payment still, but I didn't. Robin found out about the system glitch and fixed it so I wouldn't get another scary letter that my insurance wasn't paid. Then Robin called to let me know all was well again and she emailed me that my account was in good standing. By the way, Amanda and Kelsey are also very nice at the Hayes Rasbury Agency too. Our contractor shared with us that David declined to increase the cost of our claim simply because he felt we were "not nice." This is unbelievably unprofessional, considering that all of our communications with him have been polite and professional through email. The only critical statement we made was pointing out that their team was unprofessional for not responding to multiple emails for over a week at a time. It is unacceptable for an insurance representative to make personal judgments and share those opinions with outside contractors. Our home repair estimates were all over $60,000, yet David Porter was only willing to approve $20,000--leaving us severely under-covered. Additionally, Rebekah Ninteman and Kiqra Torres Jimenez were both unhelpful and did nothing to improve the situation. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend working with a different insurance company if you value professional communication and fair claim handling. Avoid Farmers Insurance if you can.

The complaint line is a freaking joke. Everything you read says call with your complaints and we will try and resolve the problem or help find a solution. The three people I have talked with couldn't direct you on how to get out of an empty paper sack. They kept defecting everything back to the local Jackson Hewitt and when I would talk to the local people they blamed everything on corporate. The manager at the Parkway East and John Hawkins Parkway location is rude and needs to be fired. She said she doesn't even use Jackson Hewitt to do her taxes. Her husband does them. That's like working at a hospital and not using it when something happens. Even if you don't you don't tell someone that. I mean she lied so many times any way she could have told one more lie. I know I am not the only one she has talked down to like she talked to me. I let the people I was with listen to how she was speaking to a customer. She was going to be right no matter what I said. I have asked for the district manager to contact me 3 different times and I have yet to hear from him. They wanted to charge me $620 once they filled out my forms. They couldn't tell how much it would be before we started. The price finally came down to $395 and I didn't realize that I could take my w2 form and information I came in with and leave after they filled out the forms. I thought I had to pay for the services. I wasn't going to jail for not paying for a service complete. I have learned my lesson if I don't like a service from now on I will refuse to pay for it. All she would say is to bad you signed saying you agreed to the services and the amount. Then continued to say if you have ever had your income tax filled out before you should know you don't have to pay for the services and you could have asked for your info and left. She is nothing but a bully and the way I deal with bullies is to call them out and whoever allows them to be a bully. She also said that I was so mad because when I got out and thought about it I felt dumb over spending that money. I told her that no I was mad before I didn't realize I had a choice with having consequences and I was going to have them keep my information for not paying. I told her and the rest of the idiots I have talked to that by the time I get through no one will want to use jackson hewitt in Alabama.

And I had LOADS because I've always used my dad's accountant and had never filed taxes myself before. As a new travel nurse, I felt comfortable filing with Nakia. She helped me navigate the taxable vs non-taxable income and stipends and everything else that comes along with travel nursing. My appointment took about an hour.
