We had Allstate insurance in 2022. Half way through our policy they went up $100 a month on our policy. When I asked them they said everyone policy went up so we canceled the next month. I found an insurance policy with Progressive that was hundred dollars less a month. So instead of telling us we had a balance of $250 they sent it to a collection agency. No letter in the mail or call asking us to pay the balance. I made arrangements to pay the collection agency and paid it today when I asked them to remove it they said they weren't obligated to remove it. I'm very upset with Allstate for doing this to us! We had perfect credit with no derogatory accounts on our credit. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. The least they could do is ask the collection agent to remove it! read more

Just bought great new coverage from Allstate with Matt Moody Allstate in Tyler, Texas with Mitzi as my agent and have a great new policy for my car and renters!! Saved money on my car with triple the coverage for the same money on my renters and auto!! And the final win, money back from other policy with a refund of the money over paid from the cancellation I am so happy with Matt Moody Insurance Agency! The insured wakes up to a tree bough sticking out of his back window of his car after a storm. He calls Safelite to have the window replaced. They are backed up and can't fit him in for 2 days. He goes to a different place who did it the same day. But they don't bill the insurance so he pays the entire bill of $335 dollars. His deductible for auto glass is $100.00 which was satisfied after the $335 paid to the shop. Allstate owes the insured $235.00. This happened August 10 2020. The insured remains unpaid. This is a true story and I am the unpaid insured. I have been victimized by Allstate as a whole and my agent who has been ineffective in working to make this right. Direct calls, emails, texts and even snail mail has fallen on deaf ears at my agents office and the Allstate glass entity. I have received the stock answer occasionally that states they have received my Reimbursement request and if there is any issues with this I will be contacted. Lies. I have threatened legal action but it might cost me more to sue them than it's worth and while I would rather be paid than litigate,it's now become about the principle. The gross incompetence of this agency mistreating it's insured. I can assure you if this ever gets resolved , I will be seeking elsewhere for insurance the day my policy goes up for renewal. I write this to warn you to really investigate before purchasing insurance from Allstate and steer clear of Matt Mooty's office. He is a lame duck. Jay read more
