Insurance almost doubled the next month in February. We called to ask why & was told it was a state wide increase. We again paid our bill. The following month in March we were hit with an additional almost $500 on top of the almost doubled payment from the previous month. We were told it was because we had missed a payment in November (5 month earlier?) This made no sense as we were contacted in January about an a ledged shortage already & the fact that we would have been cancelled most certainly. We paid it anyway. Now in April, we got another bill for $500 over the regular amount. called in, was told it was because we didn't have a vehicle added & it was back payment. I had my policy in hand & informed them this vehicle was insured since November 2023. They responded "oh yeah i see that" then proceed to tell me they will see what else it is, as if they are digging for a reason. They then tell me it was because I missed December & January's payments. I told them once again this wasn't true & that i had bank statements to prove it. I was told to bring the bank statements to them in person to "see" what they can do. This is massively incompetent & unprofessional. Shop around, even if you don't save any money, it is worth it to not deal with the train wreck that is Eloy Leal state farm. by the way- I am a 15 yr customer with these people & this is how i am treated.

I was lucky enough that his client made a payment reinstating his status as an insured driver. When I called to make my claim, I spoke to Eloy Leal himself. He was rude, impatient, and at one point in the conversation when I was remember details of the event declared, "Hey come on man, I don't have all day!" He then explained how he's busy with many other things. He expressed that he would rather myself be "more quick than accurate" with the details of the crash. He lacks professionalism, patience, diligence, and is a very poor representative of State Farm.
