Sal and his team could not have been better to work with and more accommodating. The hall had just been updated with beautiful crown molding on the walls, new paint and new china brought in. It was far beyond what I was expecting for a Knight Hall when I first visited. The food was great!!! Sal used his many years in the catering and living-in-the-area knowledge to bring in the best food. For example, One guest told me my daughter's wedding cake was the best cake she ever had! I made a few requests to Sal-- ready for the normal, every-day "pushback" which is the norm today. He accommodated everything! He even called me 2 weeks before the wedding to ask what the alcohol of choice would be for my guests to make sure it was covered and they had a good time. I was a little stunned. A large portion of the groom's guests came from Arizona and there was a favorite Scottish Ale of theirs that could not be shipped to New York because of regulations. He searched and found a NY beer that was exact match that the guests loved! Finally, the KofC hall was the best value I found; it was a fraction of what the other Long Island-wedding-oligarchy venues would charge. It allowed my daughter to have a financial start to life with her new husband. I even thanked Sal in my father-of-the-bridge toast, unusual right?) saying, "He made it possible for two recently graduated college student not only to have a Long Island wedding, but a beautiful one."

Michael isn't one of them. He communicates quickly, clearly, and frequently, which I really appreciate. Best of all, he's used to working with businesses. If you're a freelancer, small business, or a creator who needs help with tax strategy, planning, and filing, Michael is your guy. Most people only think about filing taxes one month out of the year, but there are things you can and should be doing the other 11 months to better position yourself to pay less in personal and business taxes when they're due. Michael can definitely help you with this! Michael is security conscious, which you don't typically see among tax professionals. I really appreciated this about him. He uses a client portal that allows you to enable two-factor authentication to help keep your documents private and secure and WILL NOT send sensitive documents via email, which is a major security risk. Michael helped me work through a really annoying, unique business tax issue that required manual work. He dusted off his payroll software and ran the numbers for me by hand, which is incredible. He provided me with everything needed to submit to local, state, and federal agencies. When it looked like we weren't going to make the tax deadlines due to my unique business tax issue, he proactively filed an extension. This sounds basic, but with previous people, if I didn't specifically make the request they wouldn't file an extension. Crazy, right? If you're not yet convinced that Michael is the person to handle your taxes, then there's no hope for you. Just kidding. You should schedule some time to chat with him. Any concerns or fears you have will be put to rest. And when Michael has finished tidying up your taxes and that heavy weight lifts from your life, you'll totally get why this review was so long.
