So my family has been with Allstate since it was owned by Clyde turner have never had many issues. Of course every now and then our rates would go up. Never had claim with them. Have been blessed not to had any accidents. Was always told that the state allows insurance companies to raise the rates because of natural disasters. Ok it was never a whole lot and I really enjoyed the women up front. But then I moved to a different zip code when we bought a new house. I knew the home insurance would go up it was a bigger house. But when I got my car insurance it rose $90 more a month. I trusted them so much that I didn't notice until a month later that it was much higher. So I called and asked why? Well I was told you moved to a different zip code. I said how is almost 100 more a month justified. They didn't know but that was the only difference. I said I'm sorry I won't pay that. So I called around and found rates with comparable companies and received quotes cheaper then what I was paying before I moved. So I called back and asked I they could look again after I had found the cheaper quotes. The nice lady told me she would have Rex call me back. A WEEK LATER!!!! I still haven't received a call. Needless to say I'm deeply disappointed and that is why I have left Allstate. I guess my money and loyalty wasn't worth a call back. If that wasn't bad enough they won't cancel my policy after my new company has sent a cancellation letter twice. Wow. So now I have to call and yell at you tomorrow. read more
