When I went in to terminate a policy, Terry Carter yelled at me the entire time. He yelled at my sister on the phone as well, and continued his tirade after she calmly asked why he was yelling. I was crying, shaking and even feared this man who appeared to be capable of being violent. I would NEVER speak to anyone like that, especially in a place of business. I was bullied and had to sit and calm down before I could safely drive home. No apologies were offered, nor did he seem at all sorry. This Allstate location is in Pooler on Highway 80. I am 63 years old and have never been treated so rudely in my entire life, especially by a supposedly experienced business man. Is he not supposed to maturely take care of business? Does he get to treat a grown woman like this with no repercussions? Would he have spoken to a MAN in this manner? I do not think so. This is not ok. I had nightmares about this experience. It leaves me feeling sick to my stomach as well. How does he sleep at night, and am I the only one who has been abused by him? read more
