I left in a lot of pain. To the point where it was questionable if this pain was a normal side affect or common after this procedure. I had burn marks on my back and lower abdomen and my stretch marks around my waist were all burnt. I went to a pharmacist that night and waited it out till the next morning. The next morning I rushed to ER emerge and found out she didn't check the skin sensitivity around my stretch marks considering its a lighter colour compared to the rest of my skin and I know have bruising and scaring all around my lower back and lower abdomen area. When contacting her sending her pictures of my burns and scaring her response was "I didn't think you would have stretch marks around that area for your age" (I'm 19) which is completely normal. She then agreed to give me half of my money back and to complete my laser session with full attention and care. I then get a text later in the week that I'm only getting refunded for my lower abdomen area and she had completely terminated my membership. NOT only do I have to still deal and recover from the burns all over my skin but I don't even get my moneys worth back and my member ship with them is now terminated even when she said she would finish the job. Regardless I would NEVER go back to them considering how delicate the skin is and how cautious you need to be with your skin and they have no idea what they are doing.

Would definitely recommend Jasmine for nail art as well. I have seen some of her specialty work on my work colleague who has beautiful nails and recommended Jasmine to me. The salon is fresh and clean with a few products to purchase. The women working at this salon are always very friendly, never fake. On my first visit, I was taken back to the waxing room within a few short minutes. I was given a background on the products they use and how the high quality leaves you less red and is a more comfortable experience. As someone with fair skin, I was happy with that! Their claims were true. While I was still a bit pink in the end, I was not as red as I normally get. In the couple times i have been to Smooth, they have switched to a wax that doesn't require the strips. I felt it was much less pain overall with the same result in the end, beautiful brows. These girls know what they are doing. Never again will I risk getting my brows done at a regular salon. Too many times I would leave with extremely skinny brows or bruised eyes (ouch!). For those who want a bit more grooming and choose the waxing way of life, Smooth has many options for memberships from brows to bikini's. When I got home, I could see that there was not enough blonde ; so I called the next day to book an appt. to have more blonde put in. I was told that there would be no additional cost if I had the same person do the added colour. I couldn't get in until the following week, with the same colourist, and had the blonde added in. The next day, I called to speak with the owner of the salon. I explained the situation to her in regard to the additional charges. She stated that I was told that there would be an additional charge; which I definitely was NOT told until after the work was completed. So when I saw they did pedicures (and I get them every 6 weeks generally) and had a spot open on Saturday, I booked it! The online booking is easy to use which is great. Once I actually got to the salon however things did not go so well. There was no friendly welcome and instead an awkward smile with no real greeting. Once I stated why I was there, they got the chair ready for me and I got to pick my colour. Whenever I've gone to a Spa and paid more then 35 dollars for a pedicure, I've always been offered refreshments so I found it a little odd when this spa did not, however that is not a reason I would give them a lower review. As the pedicure continues things got a bit worse. When my feet were being scrubbed, I found that the esthetician went too hard and I wasn't able to put pressure on my heels making it difficult to walk. I've never had a lot of dead skin on the heels of my feet so I was surprised she was going harder on it but I figured they can see me more then myself. However I was wrong as I was in a lot of pain after trying to walk the rest of the day and I have a fairly high pain tolerance. There were also one of the workers kids there. Normally I do not have a problem with kids being in a spa especially as I understand child care can be difficult to find or things come up. But once again as the pedicure continued, it got less enjoyable. The kids were running around and making lots of noise, which normally I wouldn't be bothered by but when I'm paying 50 dollars plus tip for a pedicure, it should be relaxing. The child also started to bother the esthetician working on me (who I think may have been her mother) which made it hard to not mess up on my pedicure and really pay attention to what she was doing. I felt her time was being wasted with me there and she should really be paying attention to the child. The child later also lost the colour of polish that I was to have (it was later found but I had already decided on a different colour). Once again just making things a bit more difficult and making me feel as though I should have not come in. I'd like to state that I was the only person in the salon at that time. Once the esthetician removed my toe separators she screwed up the big toe. So she tried to redo it a couple of times but it didn't turn out okay at all. At this point, I didn't want to say anything as she tried a few times and I really felt they were trying to rush through me so they could close and leave. I am unfortunately disappointed at the outcome especially as 50 dollars plus tip is a lot to spend on a pedicure that was already ruined before I left the spa.
