Please be aware that this is a very large company and you will get paired with a photographer who they say "meet your needs", but honestly its who ever is avail. We did meet with our photographer Dustin in the Springfield office. We discussed pictures and the wedding day plans. Now it did rain and had to alter our picture plans, but the two stars are for the pics that were taken were just OK. The venue had some great shots that weren't captured and of course we can see this now thinking back. The assistant actually took better shots. The pics weren't special and for some reason they decided our band needed a good 15 pictures or more. Not even all of my guests were captured or each table, but they got the band and lots of them. I know they did their best, but for the price and what we received I would have to say please go and try someone else. Your wedding day is a memorable moment and if you want average pics you should pay average price. We did have an amazing day no matter weather or pictures and that truly is what matters most.

We not only cannot recommend JPG, we would strongly caution against using them. In spite of planning together with the photographer and being clear about our intentions not to photograph the prep, we had to wait for them to set up after we were long ready. The 14 weeks from event to actual pictures were astonishing. Even more so after getting them and seeing just how little thought and effort went into their editing and "organization". Also - be prepared to be referred to your contract repeatedly. They will hold it up anytime you ask for something.

We worked together to come up with a price/package that met our needs and chose Matt Bender as our primary photographer. Our engagement session gave us a chance to get to know Matt and for him to know us. When the big day came, we felt very comfortable with him and he (along with 2 other photographers) did a great job managing our family and bridal party for group shots. Many guests commented that our photographers were awesome throughout the evening. This skill should not be overlooked when you are evaluating a wedding photographer! In the end, we were thrilled with the quality and variety of pictures. The photo journalistic style captured the true essence of the day and there were a lot of really fun shots. To top it off, all of JPG's wedding packages include a DVD or thumb drive of high-res images with personal use rights - which means you have full flexibility when it comes to albums and prints. I called OK Video and Tricia was wonderful and assured me they would try and fix the vhs tape and have everything ready and copied in the next week or so. When I walked in Tricia greeted me with a smile, looked at the tape and said it probably won't be a problem. I got a call a few days later that it was all fixed and copies were made. They not only charged less than they told me, but gave me a discount as well. They were accommodating, professional, and went over and beyond in my opinion. When I asked the gentleman that fixed it how bad it was, he said it just needed to be put in a new tape. It was not that bad and it only cost $15 to replace the vhs tape. I am so thankful that after my Father passed away, that I can share this gift of his video with my siblings this Christmas.
