    Ex employee here. I've heard employees mock disabled children who dropped their media device. I've…read moreseen the owner scream and cuss at both employees and customers. I believe his insecurities about being a short obese man get the better of him and cause him to be a truly awful person to work with. All the employees trash talked him behind his back. They regularly trash talk anybody who comes in, insulting their intelligence. I was told MANY times to push computers past the Free Eval to Troubleshooting so that we could get paid even if we didnt do work. The Free Eval was just to get people to leave their computer there with the idea being they would most likely pay more than it's worth to get it back. They hold your computer hostage.

Millenium 3 has free evaluations and so we asked them to check it out. We get a call back a few days later saying there are a ton of other problems with it and that we might as well get a new computer!! We go back up there and my computer is a mess!! There are wires exposed and you could just tell that it was not in the condition we left it in. We spoke to a manger and he starts looking at it and says that it actually could be fixed and this is what needs to be done blah blah blah. We ask him about the wires because I did NOT do that. He says it looks like it just wasn't put back together right but there's no way to prove it?!! Oh well whatever! We leave the computer there because it needs to get fixed but yet again we get a call saying there is no hope. We picked it back up and took it to Best Buy and they shipped it off to be fixed. Thanks for nothing Millennium 3. At least this unnecessary hassle was free.

    It is no surprise that stores like Office Depot/Max are struggling to survive. I first attempted to…read moreplace an order online and when that was unsuccessful because its system could not match my credit card with its correct address, I called its 800 number. The representative said that she could take my credit card by phone unsecured and I declined that not wanting to compromise my credit card. She then stated that I could waste my valuable time going into the store and placing the order although this was not an option I wanted, but while out I stopped by the store and placed the order 10 days ago with the delivery date for three days later, last Wednesday. I received a confirmation email that my order shipped with an estimated date of May 22, 2024.. Last Wednesday the order was never delivered, and I never received the courtesy of a call or an email or any communication from this company with a delivery update. Today I called the local store and spoke with its local manager, who proceeded to tell me that for some reason my order had been cancelled by phone, a request I never made. Then he told me I could call the help desk number of which he was very happy to give me. I declined and asked him if he would handle it and he said no. What is the point of a Manager who is unwilling to help customers? I used to care about companies failing esp storefront businesses, but I no longer care about this company failing. I will do business elsewhere since Office Depot/Max does terrible business and clearly does not care about its customers! PS Don't offer better deals online that you have no intention to honor. Nothing like a bait and switch! I am also a rewards customer who has done business with them for over 15 years but that means nothing.

Don't fret. . thanks to lawyers it's now the same company!!…read more I'm not sure how these folks do it ,pricing on some items [especially on sale] rivals the biggest deep discount online retailers, (ahem. . . Amazon) but they had to buy, ship and warehouse this stuff long before sale. Here's my favorite thing. Very often I will receive a last second notice to ship something somewhere and I don't travel with a printer 24/7. OfficeMax to the rescue! Armed with a USB drive and a scant 11 cents a page. . .print whatever you need at a self serve document center all day long! Always a good selection of deep discount clearance items and a helpful staff. (The only thing I am not certain of it their computer service center reputation). Approved!
