This is a park-like pathway that starts at the Statue of Liberty at Pont deGrenelle, and goes well past the Eiffel Tower. It is tree-lined and beautiful, and especially nice because it allows you to walk the length of the Seine without having to dodge lots of people on the sidewalks, crossing streets, crossing bridges, etc. it has access ways up to the various bridges, but not every bridge. A lot of Parisians use it as a jogging trail, or for a nice shaded way to take the kids out for a stroll. It was one of the first things we did when we arrived in Paris as we wanted to walk down to the Eiffel Tower. We really enjoyed this hidden treasure. read more
