When my husband and I went in for a cleaning they charged for a periodontal deep cleaning that wasn't performed. When they do fillings they use porcelain on back teeth which most dental insurances won't cover becuse it's considered cosmetic. Four fillings and two teeth cleanings cost 800$. They gave me a printout of the cost: $867 per crown. But when the reminder call for the first appointment came (and went to voice mail), the lady said I should be prepared to pay $1,140 at that time. I showed up for my appointment and asked what happened to $867 per crown? The answer was that someone forgot to add an additional $273 per crown. Was the discrepancy an honest mistake, or bait and switch? I have no way of knowing, so I walked away from all the appointments and am now looking for a new dentist. I should also add, that Dr. Sikora's office expects to you to call back if it makes an appointment reminder call that goes to voice mail. If you don't call back they feel free to give your appointment to someone else.
