    Chicken and meat tacos
    Alicia L.

I heard about this place from a friend so decided check it out. They have a pretty big menu, with mostly breakfast, several lunch items and a small vegan section (about 5 options) & vegetarian section on the back. Once we sat down, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who took our order. We asked about happy hour as it says it on the large sign out front, but he explained that it's old and they don't do it anymore. Not a big deal, but glad we asked. He did bring us chips and salsa and said "happy hour" so it seemed like he was trying to make up for it in some way. Appreciate that. My husband ordered chicken and meat tacos which he said were decent, but he liked the other place we went to instead (he's not vegan). I ordered the fajitas with almond cheese from the vegan menu. It was pretty good and very filling. The cooked veggies came with a side of black beans and some avocado. I thought they would've came with some tortillas and/or rice too, but maybe that's just an American thing ? Either way, I was stuffed after finishing. And I used the chips to scoop some of the veggies and beans, drizzled some salsa and make my own little concoction. It worked for me LOL. Overall, the service could've been a bit better. Our waiter disappeared for a while and when he came back it looked like he went to the store LOL. I know we're on Baja time and really didn't mind just hanging out until he got back, but figured it's worth mentioning. The meal was good but I don't think it's worth coming a second time.. especially with so many other vegan options in Todos.

Alma y Manny was recommended to us by our hotel and quickly became our go-to spot in town. First we stopped by for chilaquiles, and they were legit the best we've ever heard. The chips somehow stayed crisp while being smothered and tossed in a salsa verde and served with meat (pollo for me, carne asada for the wife). Beans on the side were creamy and flavorful without being extra heavy. Then of course we hung out after over a couple micheladas. Fire. The next day, we stopped by for lunch and had Chile Rellenos. And they were the best we've ever had--surprise. For real tho. The food here is so homey and humble, but really high quality. None of the meals were too heavy, which was really nice in the warm weather. Get a table upstairs and enjoy the vibes, delicious food, and sip on a michelada. Trust me.

Had a really delicious (and inexpensive) brunch at Alma y Manny during a quick trip to Todos Santos. My husband and I both ordered a version of the chilaquiles and it really hit the spot, so filling and unbelievably cheap. We also ordered their guava and mango agua Frescas which were yummy but guava is the way to go. We ended up enjoying the spot so much that we stayed for a beer after breakfast too.

Pretty good, pretty cheap, very authentic. Jesus had tacos at the last supper. Who knew? (See picture on wall.) They substantiated papas for frijoles with my huevos mexicanos, which was nice for a cambio. Veggie options. Roof patio. Free WiFi. UPDATE: I just got my bill, and they changed me extra for the potatoes with no beans, and also charged me extra for an extra 1/2 cup of coffee, which is usually included in Mexico. So my 95 peso breakfast bounced up to 120. Ah, well... PS The guy next to me (the only other customer) drank six --SIX!-- beers with his breakfast! Just thought I'd let you know.

This is a great place for more variety and breakfast all day. They even have vegetarian options. The prices are better than most places too. If you are looking for more than fish tacos this is your place.

If you find yourself in Todos Santos Mexico during the day and your stomach starts grumbling at the sight of all the places to eat - then do yourself a favor, wander away from the main tourist area of downtown TS (don't worry, it is safe) and come here for lunch. The Todos Santos area food scene has something for everyone. There are: - high end restaurants with authentic chefs running the place - mid-range dining options for the family on a reasonable budget - local "hole-in-the-wall" places for getting excellent food on the cheap Some specialize in garden-to-table freshness, others are seafood only, there is good italian, and various other options. Alma and Manny's falls into the "hole-in-the-wall" category giving you very good food at a very reasonable price. It is good honest local food served at a small family run establishment. They had a little damage from the 2014 hurricane that swept through the area, so the setup is still a little funky. But they are open and turning out some tasty dishes. You can see from the more recent pictures that they now have a white partition in front of the kitchen area - the lower part where the young girl is standing in the earlier picture was damaged. And the "bar" is basically a table set up in the corner that they guy (Manny?) works mixing the margaritas or opening the cervesas. We had a chile releno and some tacos and 2 cervesa - the total given in pesos and stated verbally (no written bill) came to the equivalent of about $8. A great deal!! Next time I am in the area I will go back for breakfast too.

    Open dining.

Really its all about the tacos. Alma y Manny has some good reviews but is a bit off the main road. We stopped in to find something amazing and were not disappointed. This is a humble place with a short menu and limited drink selections, but hey that's not why we're here. We wanted to hit the major proteins, so our order included: Chips & Salsa, Guacamole & Chips, Grilled Fish Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos, Chicken Enchiladas, and Shrimp Stuffed Chile Rellano. "Street Style" tacos are about $1.50 each served al a carte and come in wonderfully soft corn tortillas. Everything had a nice bit of warm savory heat without the bite good for all palates. The grilled fish is the star attraction featuring the tender juiciness of fresh caught Totoaba a local white fish similar to a sea bass. You could stop right here and be happy, but the chicken is another wonderful surprise, again a tender, buttery meat. The interior decor features many chickens and even photos of specific varieties, obviously very proud of this product. Chile Rellenos make the top list too. Wonderful warm lingering flavors, delicate breading. We had shrimp in ours that were nothing special, maybe a bit over cooked. Carne Asada tacos are also typical of the area but not a reason to make the trip. Overall the service was friendly, restaurant was clean and simple, menu short and sweet. Come for the Fish Tacos and a cheese Chile Rellenos with a cold Pacifico. You won't be disappointed.

This place had the best and most delicious authentic local cuisine. Their prices are cheap. The food is exquisite. The salsa with chips were the best I have ever had. I loved the fish tacos. Staff is nice but they only speak Spanish (hint for those traveling) and only take Mexican pesos. Definitely a must!

Fish tacos and Pacifico's!! Great combo. Oh and fresh guacamole

My favorite place in Todos, everything is amazing and the fish tacos are best I've ever had. Food is made fresh and Maany and his family are the nicest people. Prices are amazing too. My wife and I eat here everyday when we visit. Don't miss out!!

If you're looking to venture out a bit when visiting Cabo, you can rent a car and take about an hour drive over to Todos Santos. The village of Todos Santos was initially founded as a Mission in 1724, and later became a major sugar-cane producer. Handicraft shops, owner-operated art galleries featuring landscape paintings of local scenes, upscale restaurants, boutique hotels and restored colonial buildings have contributed to the gentrification and redevelopment of the town. It's a fun place to take a stroll, shop and look around. At some point, you will get hungry and I highly suggest you visit Alma & Manny's for a bite to eat. The staff is super friendly with Manny stepping in to greet and ensure that you are being well taken care of. You'll find Alma in the kitchen preparing some beautiful fresh dishes of authentic Mexican food with her own personal flare. I was quite impressed with the food presentation and taste as well as our entire experience there. They take pride in their work, delivering colorful plates of tantalizing food. All of the vegetables and fruit are super fresh and not added as an afterthought as is sometimes done in restaurants. Their Special Beef Soup of the day was abound with vegetables and tender meat in a delightful broth. They served a medley of condiments to enhance the soup and customize it to your liking, along with their delicious fresh made tortillas! Although we were too full for dessert, (and who eats dessert with lunch anyway?) Manny wouldn't let us leave without trying their house made flan. Ok, so you don't need dessert with lunch, but wow, was it delish!

The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We began with the plantain appetizer stuffed with cheese and served over a rich mole sauce. It was out of this world. If I could change one thing, I'd make the plantains a little larger--they were a bit smaller than the size of my palm--but the flavor more than made up for it. That mole sauce was everything: rich, slightly sweet, complex, and the perfect complement to the cheese-filled plantains. I could have eaten a bowl of that sauce by itself. For our entrées, we had the chicken penne Alfredo and the ribs with raspberry barbecue sauce. The Alfredo was creamy, rich, perfectly seasoned, and served in a generous portion. The ribs were equally impressive--tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the unique raspberry barbecue sauce. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more ribs because they were that good. Great food, great flavors, and a memorable meal. If you're anywhere near Todos Santos or Playa Cerritos, I highly recommend making a stop at Santos Pecados.

Stopped by for a quick bite to find a no frills environment with ample seating and great service. The place is very clean and the side vegetables provided for just a few tacos are quite generous. Ordered 3 tacos and here's their ranking from my most to least favorite: - Grilled shrimp: shrimp tastes properly grilled with a nice charred flavor and there's a generous portion of shrimp on the taco. - Al pastor: very flavorful and the ingredients all mix well together with the soft cut of pork. - Asada: lots of carne asada to go around, but the meat was slightly tougher than the pork in the Al pastor taco. Note that all tacos come with a generous serving of guacamole, which is certainly a huge plus for the establishment! You also get to have a personal serving of cucumbers, radishes, lime, and a green chili sauce to go hand in hand with your tacos and you can go up to the front to fix yourself a side plate of some grilled sweet and spicy peppers, which were truly perfect. There's a fridge with lots of soda options available. The lemon Fresca was quite refreshing on a warm sunny day.

I requested a chicory salad because when is chicory a menu star? It's no surprise that this salad was good. The leaves were dotted with tangy goat cheese and gems of pomegranate seeds. Chicory was the star. I had the fish tacos, three dressed in adobo seasoning, a recommendation over the grilled sea bass special. The plate had three small spoons filled with guac, salsa verde, and the most incredible salsa macha. The salsa macha had notes of chocolate that paired well with the adobo seasoned fish. Don't miss this! The chile relleno was filled with quinoa and veggies, plated on top of two sauces.
