I visited today for a safety check and wanted to share my experience to help others. Overall, I've…read morehad positive visits here in the past--their safety checks are thorough and well-done, which is why we keep coming back. That said, heads up: they no longer accept walk-ins for safety checks; it's strictly by appointment only now. When we arrived without one, the staff member was quite abrupt, asking if we had an appointment and then saying it's "been like that for a long time" when we explained we didn't know. However, just a year ago, we walked in without issue, so this seems like a fairly recent change. She mentioned we could pay an extra $35 to get squeezed in right away, but that felt a bit off-putting. It's totally understandable to switch to appointments for better organization, but it wasn't mentioned on their Yelp page (which, as of today, doesn't even link to their website--and that's the only way to make an appointment). Plus, their Square appointment site requires you to enter a credit card, and you'll be charged a $10 fee if you don't cancel at least 24 hours in advance. A friendlier tone would have made this all much smoother. Just a suggestion for the team to update their Yelp info and handle these situations with a bit more warmth. Bottom line: Great service once you're in, but definitely book an appointment through their website ahead of time to avoid any hassle!

I have the unfortunate burden of informing the public that these guys are Crooks…read more We needed the shocks rebuilt for our truck and when my 81 year father brought it to Jeff, he was talked into ordering new shocks for $4500.00 ! Then Jeff strung him along for over 9 months with many excuses as to why the shocks had not arrived, then parts were missing or on back-order, etc. I finally went to pick up the truck and asked Jeff to just put the shocks we had purchased into the trunk as I was not going to take any more excuses and go elsewhere. First, he claimed the shocks were in trunk (which was empty) and tried to tell me someone must have taken them. Then he came out and tried to give me a 5 year old set of used, scratched up shocks. Then he finally said he does not have them! Jeff has made no attempt to refund the money or make good in any way on these criminal acts. If you are planning on doing business with these guys, I hope you have read this and run to a different option...

In 2025 took it in to have some warranty work done on the rear window because of bubbling. Johnny scraped off enough of the rear defrost lines rendering the defroster useless. And still charged me $100. I had to pay $650 for a whole new back window! When I called him he said he told me that there was a possibility that the defroster wouldn't work after. Certainly there is a way of removing tint without the use of a scraper with a razor blade. He then told me that this is Hawai'i and no one uses there rear defroster anyway! Unbelievable! We had agreed on him paying for half the price of the window and he still couldn't honor that agreement. Coming up short. And when asked about the charge for warranty work that the manufacturer pays him to do he couldn't come up with a decent answer. Even though he posts videos on social media saying that there is no charge to the customer for warranty work! I have talked to people saying that Lacy would have done right and took care of this entirely. So to everyone that has gone here and had good things to say just know that you better be ready to pay for warranty work that Llumar pays him to do and there is a high potential that your rear defroster won't work if you have the back tint replaced here. It's a shame that this guy is ruining his dads business. He also told me after putting the tint on to tell all my boys about him. I did. Told them to tell all there boys to tell there boys to never go to this guy. He posts about being best in the west. Far from it in my opinion. Good luck to all of you.
