Been going to Hospitality Dental for over 20yrs now ! Started going there when my 2 oldest boys…read morewere toddlers. They are both now in their mid 20's . We have seen staff change but the quality of service is still very high! Thank you Hospitality Dental for your services!!

When Dr. Trammel learned my father passed away he put a rush on my dad's bridge so that he may be buried with a full set of teeth. But the years caught up with this dentist. 6-7 years ago he botched my root canal and crowns. I complained to the staff about pain and discomfort but I was ignored. I had other problems that the staff ignored. Tremmel finally retired due to health problems. I ost a tooth because the gum area became infected. I complained for 2 months about the pain but was ignored. A new doctor redid my root canal but it was always painful for 3 years. Last year I was sent to a specialist and he informed me that when HD redid my root canal they did NOT clean out all the bacteria. HD did a poor job making me a partial because I lost that tooth. The partial was painful and it actually moved my back molars that it attached to. Instead of moving my Terr back the dentist shaved my teeth. They just replaced the crown that was not done correctly with a larger crown, but that moved my back teeth and I'm now biting down on my gums. Now they are saying they may have to shave my bone! Or this or that! It appears that I go in for one thing and they keep adding things. My day we called that padding the bill. So, my bite is messed up and the back teeth are still digging into my back gums. I left. Never to return. My suggestion don't go here because it's all about how many procedures they can force on you. They create problems so they can charge you more for more procedures.

Unfortunately I was in desperate in need of finding a dentist like him that was not just thorough but very honest with all the issues I went in to see him for. I had some work done by previous dentist that was not done like it should have been done. Bridges loose & I mean I could move it around. Another bridge which was done on my upper front that reminded me of a beaver. Dr S planned and has made suggestions that made so much more sense to than any other dentist I had seen in years. Bottom line is so much dental work performed by other dentist had to be redone because of not being done correctly & was causing me pain & discomfort. I have only seen maybe 4 dentist in 20 years and the past 3 years my issues were being patched instead of being done properly. Dr S planned & have fixed half of my problems I came in with. I went to him at the beginning of 2025 & teeth pulled, implants, filling, cleanings & now planning for this 6 teeth bridge in my upper front to be removed. I just can't explain the interest & his passion he has shown me for so many issues since I've been in his care. I am so grateful for him & his staff. His staff is so professional & personnel. I'm greeted with professionalism, no long wait times, back office staff I really like them all, Nora the financial manager has been so on top of the billing of my insurance & lastly office is very clean & organized. I know it sounds unbelievable and it is, you'd have to personally experience it yourself. This office has been 10 minutes from me for years & I stumbled on them & gave them a chance because I had gotten so distrusting of dentist. I have referred several family members & friends to him. All I can say is you won't be disappointed. Most of this rework he has done in the back otherwise I would post pictures. Believe me when he starts the front I will update with before & after.

I called my insurance to confirm that indeed they would pay for it. I then called back and told them, they said they would get a pre-authorization and would call me, never heard from them. The day before my cleaning they called to confirm my appointment and I asked if they got the pre authorization and they said they hadn't submitted it but to go ahead and come in. I told them they had 2 months to get it all they had to do was call them and confirm that the code they were using is indeed covered. They said they had to get the authorization in, which they hadn't yet submitted. I cancelled my appointment and told them that when they got there act together and got the authorization to call me to schedule the appointment. It is now June and they have not called. I will not ever go back there as I have changed dentist.

The first office I tried had wonderful staff/dentist, but the location was tucked between businesses in a tiny lot with zero parking, everyone was great, you'd be seen quickly and I'm sure poor parking drives away the members. The second place. staff was kind, dentist was bleh. Kind of cold but the biggest problem was how DIRTY this office was. I'm really not overly picky, but it's hard to relax in a dental chair staring at layers of dust everywhere. It felt like you'll walk out with an infection from that place. I NEVER returned. Notice I'm not mentioning who - because I'm not trying to be hurtful. Now... Vernon Dental. I WALKED in and was quickly offered a same-day appointment. During appt, everyone was welcoming, professional, and the office was CLEAN. Oh yes... there's PLENTY of parking! After my appointment, I needed help and called... this is the nightmare. The biggest (so far only) issue this office needs to work on is their phone system. Calling the office is extremely frustrating!! There's an AI answering service that sends you through endless prompts before finally transferring you to an operator. Then after sitting on hold forever with your blood pressure already rising because of this AI, the call disconnects!!! I called back 6x and all 6x call just ends. Soooo disrespectful. I truly hope this is a system issue and not the front desk staff because everyone in person has been incredibly kind and helpful and that would suck! And if the receptionist is in fact hanging up on members because she's overwhelmed, get her some help!! Even an intern would be helpful!! Shoot you get 2 interns so there's always 2 receptionist/admins available. Your girl now can manage that area and handle the more complex tasks, while delegating appt booking or smaller general questions to HER interns. Seee problem solve! I've worked clerical years ago and it was a very undervalued and unappreciated position. I got my interns when I was about to leave. This AI will know your name but can't even find your scheduled appointments? That's minimal AI help. Get rid of the AI and get additional receptionist support, it would make a huge difference because this part of the experience will absolutely drive members away. I want this to work so I'm annoyed but will refrain from calling and just use my breaks to drive over (little voice inside is yelling ridiculous). Those looking for dental care:: once you actually get into the office, the experience is great. Everyone I have interacted with has been kind, professional, patient, and caring. And the air feels clean lol. Yes, there's usually a wait. Yes, there's a line. But to me, that says something important: people want to be seen here. The office stays busy because members trust them and are getting the care they need. Honestly, if you have the time, it's probably easier to stop by in person and avoid calling for help. That would be much faster and with less frustration - even if it takes time to make the trip.

While I understand that arbitration agreements are not uncommon in healthcare settings, presenting one of this scope as a prerequisite to being seen gave me pause. For context, I have significant exposure to the dental industry from a Systems Administration, Compliance, and Operations standpoint across 100+ dental offices in the LA/OC/SB area. Agreements that address dispute resolution are not unusual. However, this document goes further than what is typically presented at intake. It requires patients to: *Waive the right to a jury trial for malpractice claims *Agree to binding arbitration for dispute resolution *Share in the costs of arbitration proceedings *Accept broad limitations on the liability of the dental practice and its affiliates *Extend these terms to family members and related parties *Apply these terms to future claims, not just current treatment To their credit, the office itself is very well maintained, with excellent parking, cleanliness, and very courteous staff. At the same time, there appeared to be limited ability to explain the legal language in the forms they are asking patients to sign, particularly when those forms involve waiving rights prior to any examination or diagnosis. I do not consider myself a litigious person and have no intention of pursuing legal action. I also recognize that practices take steps to manage risk. That said, requiring patients to agree to such comprehensive legal terms before any care is delivered does not inspire confidence. It raises reasonable questions about why this level of protection is emphasized so early in the process. This whole experience led me to consider whether the practice approaches other responsibilities in this manner. When the administrative posture is strongly oriented toward limiting liability upfront, it led me to question whether there is consistency in other areas, including patient communication, transparency in treatment recommendations, and the handling and protection of personal and health information. While these are my own conclusions, they are not unfounded given my prior experience working with a large number of dental practices and observing how different offices approach compliance, patient communication, and risk management. The office currently has a number of five-star reviews, which may reflect positive experiences with staff interactions and overall environment. However, reviews of that nature are generally a measure of bedside manner and service experience, not necessarily technical clinical ability. Without being seen or evaluated, I have no meaningful way to assess the quality of care before being asked to agree to significant legal terms. I am sharing this in the hope that it is seen and reconsidered, as this appears to be a straightforward issue to address. A more balanced and clearly explained approach would likely improve patient confidence while still allowing the practice to manage risk appropriately. Trust in a healthcare provider is built through competence, transparency, and patient-centered care. In my view, requiring agreement to sweeping legal terms before even being seen does not support that foundation. I declined to sign.
