He called the realtor to let her know that we were going with another house and cancelling that appointment. Amazing the same realtor showed up with a couple that put in an offer as we were writing it. Coincidence, I don't think so, and neither did the friends that had dealt with him before. He was referring me to people for security, inspection on the house, etc. All of which I am sure, he got kick backs. The inspector was horrible. He did nothing to inspect our pool. I trusted John, as we were up North, to make sure that the inspection was thorough. I not to long after found out that many things weren't inspected and were compromised. The house was advertised as having a Salt Water Pool with Solar Panel heating. LIES. I found out after 3 pool companies came out and all had said that it hadn't been any of that in atleast 8 years. They said that the motor and pump on the pool was near death, and they couldn't believe that someone sold us the house with the state of the pool. The person that he referred us to do the inspection, did a real number on us. Within a couple of weeks, we had leaks after rain in our kitchen, my husband had to repaint the kitchen wall.. the roofing company that came out for repairs said that there was a break in our roof that had to have come from, perhaps a hammer, and the last person up there. On top of this, when we bought the home, the water heater was only 1 year old, with a 10 year warranty. What John failed to tell us, was that we had 90 days to call the company to switch the warranty. As a result, we lost the warranty. All of this was complete negliance. I would never recommend him. Both other Realtors, when I bought a home, were kind enough to give a gift. He didn't give us anything, and never showed up to get the lockbox. When I called him about my initial concerns, he told me that more people spend in lawsuits fighting on this stuff. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM, EVER.. OR HIS COMPANY SINCE THEY SUPPORT THIS.

By Monday evening, gnats were flying around in every room and there were also ants in the kitchen sink and dead gnats in the refrigerator and freezer. Despite reporting it in person Tuesday morning to Lisa Giacona, with Ocean View Realty, pest control didn't come until Wednesday. Maintenance was only told about the bathroom, not the kitchen--the main issue. The infestation lasted our entire stay, making the kitchen unusable and sleep uncomfortable. Additionally, the unit was not clean on arrival: mildew in the shower, dirty appliances, and musty linens. The condo owner offered only a $250 refund, though we requested $650 (about half our stay), which we feel is more than reasonable given the circumstances. This experience completely ruined our vacation, and we would not recommend staying here. Attached are just a few of the photos and videos taken.
