Coffees and other beverages out 24/7 not to mention the delicious tarts left for us on check-in. No shoes Inn, which is the same as our home so we didn't mind, but just so you are aware. I would recommend they put some stickers on a few of the windows. When we pulled in an injured dove was in the parking lot, a bloody beak so we assume she ran into a window. While having our coffee the next morning in room 3, two birds hit the front window very loudly. Heartbreaking but easy enough to fix.

The front desk was attentive and helpful and the hotel manager took the time to answer a few questions that we had. The hotel itself is newly remodeled and has a homey, modern feel. Our room was clean and cute and our beds were comfortable. It is centrally located to the town - a 3 minute walk! - that has awesome restaurants and coffee and live entertainment. They even offer a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. We will be back the next time we head out this way!

I'm not sure what this mashup block it is trying to be, but it's not doing any of those four visions extremely well. It's fine, just really odd right down to the antique Chinese furniture that is too valuable to sit on in the lobby. There is also a strange cheapness with the television package, which does not have cable but a free version of Roku that doesn't have any tv stations you'd expect in a hotel like TSN or the CBC. I've seen this in VRBOs but never in an actual hotel. A fine place to stay but I'm choosing more wisely next time.

Much needed in the height of summer temperature reaching the mid to high 30c. It still carries Bee Kind amenities and I love that brand! It is outside the downtown area of Revelstoke, so you will need to drive into town or take the shuttle for $2 per way. It is about 5 mins away. I like the hot tub. There are two! One outdoor with a view of the mountains and everyone looking at you. The other is in the lower level where the small fitness center is. There are also steam room and sauna and shower area and lounge area there. There are also complimentary beverages like coffee, tea (teavana) and fruit infused water in the morning. After that, only water is available. The lounge area is quite big with a pool table. You can be kept occupied even if you spend a whole day indoors. I'll stay here again if I ever visit Revelstoke again.

The kids just love counting the cars and keeping track of the engine numbers. If you stay more that 2 days you will see some engines twice, which in train-bingo is a double bonus score! The site of the last spike - where Canada became a nation, is well worth a day outing and is 25 minutes West from the hotel. The world famous Roger's Pass and McDonald Tunnel are about 1 Hour East and there is a National Park Visitor Experience Center at Roger's pass. We booked a room at the Fairfield by Marriot Inn & Suites Revelstoke. We checked in and after about four hours started getting ready for bed. I took my French bulldog downstairs to go outside before turning in. At this time, the staff representative told us we had to leave because pets are not allowed. At no time were we made aware that pets were not welcome. I asked for a refund, assistance finding another room in high season during a storm, or to speak with someone who could give us permission to stay. All requests were denied. We booked through Expedia and were told to contact them. I begged her to make an exception given the late hour, the blizzard, and that I was traveling alone with my child. She told me no without concern or apology. My daughter & I were both pretty upset when we left. I just spent hours on the phone with Marriot and Expedia trying to find another room and obtain a refund, while my daughter needed me to console her and to go to bed. We finally found a room at the Sandman Inn and are safe. Shame on you Marriott.

Guess this will be my chance to tell you all about a great find. Love that you can make reservations either through their website, or on numerous online booking forums, but only their website gives you exact details of the beds in each of the 5 bedrooms. Bonus: for each person staying there is a free aquatic centre pass for pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, waterslide and climbing wall. We have always been too busy taking in everything else but really need to remember about this next time. When you arrive, park around back in the private lot off the alley. Go inside and give Poppi a call so she can give you the tour. Poppi is friendly and full of knowledge about the area. As she remembered us from the last time we visited, she made sure to tell us about all the new restaurants that had opened and advise where to find them all too. After a quick tour to our room and making sure we had everything she left us to settle in with one last "use the phone to call me if you need anything". Poppi stays on the upper level of the house but does her best to stay out of the way of her guests but right there is you ever have an issue. We stayed in the Taj Mahal room, which has a double bed with a single bunk on top, perfect size for the 3 of us. Beds are comfortable, bath and hand towels provide for every person in the room, extremely clean and well maintained. All the bedrooms and shared bathroom are on the second floor. Bathroom is clean and also has the washer dryer set up in there - cant remember if you can do a load of personal laundry or not but think so. Shower is fantastic for a guesthouse with hot water coming out pretty quickly. On the same floor is a cute little balcony with table and chairs that you can sit at and enjoy the sunshine. Downstairs is a large kitchen and second bathroom with shower, as well as a sitting room and games room. There are board games and a foozeball table you can use. TV is set up in the corner and a desktop computer for use of guests. As we were there the day before the long weekend, there were only 2 other rooms occupied but didn't really run into anyone. Previously when we stayed the whole house was full but was easy to get into the bathrooms and use the kitchen. Whenever I am in the area, this is where I will stay. Also really love that the cost is per room not per person - lovely detail for the price conscious.

The grocery store is on the opposite corner from this place and the bus pickup is a block up the street. My stay was good and didn't have any problem with noise or heat. Hot water came on promptly. James was incredibly friendly and helpful as well, also allowing me to store my luggage while I was out snowboarding for the day. It is a bit dated, but I would definitely stay here again.

Out of the blue yesterday we received a cancellation notice from them, 30 days before our plane departs, blowing hole in the middle of a meticulously trip. The reason given was "operational changes" whatever the hell that means. I can't imagine a more unporfessional way to treat customers.
