Great place. Outside is unassuming. Since 1920. Great history!

Pizza is awesome. Beer was cold. Bartender Frank was friendly. Family owned. Next door to Zorbas, which is a part if Alphas

Stopped in late March for something to eat after a day at the Locks. It appeared relatively empty…read morebut it's a good sized place so it's a bit deceiving to see how many people are there. The lighting is good and the overall atmosphere was chill. Music played in the background and didn't interfere with conversation. 20 beers on tap. A huge bar. A pool table. All kinds of fun to be had! So, let's talk food. A simple front and back menu loaded with goodies. Two different Rueben appetizers speak to the passion of an Irish Pub. It's in the Sault, however, and the fish is the real steal of the show. I judge that everything on this menu is made with care and comes out delicious. The perch are deep fried, light and tender. Their "famous" questo tastes a lot like grandma's rotel and is absolutely delicious. Beers, Bloody Mary's, Fish, Irish fare, burgers, quality service, and plenty of seating make this place a worthy stop for nearly every audience. Come on in and you won't be disappointed. (the prices are too low to mention, imo)

Moloney's is a cozy eatery downtown Sault Ste Marie. It is set in an older building. You will…read morelove the wood floors, brick walls, plaster tiled ceiling and attractive bar area. Things were very clean and orderly - even the restrooms. The booths were spacious comfortable. The menu is fairly large and prices are decent. The team here is very friendly and hustles. There was not enough waitress scheduled to handle the post locks crowd. They were spread very thin. The food coming out of the kitchen was very slow as well. We were seated by the window where the food comes out. I was shocked at how long many items sat waiting on a waitress and that there was no heat lamp to help keep food warm. Our sweet potato fries came out cold. The fried pickles were okay. The dill chip was moderately thick with a heavy breading. The chip was touch and couldn't be bit into. The breading was nice and firm and a bit oily. The Cole slaw was pretty good - finely cut cabbage pieces with a thin mayo-vinegar taste. The onion rings were also good. Some rings had a thicker piece of onion. The batter was thick and a bit greasy. The garlic Parmesan wings were okay. The basket consisted of 8 small wings. The wings were battered and fried. The insides were a solid white and fairly moist. The batter was bit crunchy which was nice. The garlic Parmesan sauce didn't really have much garlic or Parmesan taste. It seemed to be a heavy buttery flavor with maybe some seasoning.
