They next time it rained the following week, the skylight leak was much worse than it was before their work. They took 8 hours for this repair and had a $280.00 service charge for a total cost of $1074. When I called to ask them to correct their faulty workmanship, they said they do not guarantee their work. In addition, they took 8 hours to strip the origional material and reapply the new material which failed immediately? Beware, they are dishonest and don't give them a penny or a minute of your time.

We had removed a wood burning stove which left a hole in the ceiling and roof where the stack was located. Our home was built in the 50s and our ceiling is cedar tongue and grove. They did a fantastic job in repairing the ceiling and the roof. The shingles on the exterior repair match exactly. Unless you really look, you can't tell where the new shingles are placed. The wood for the ceiling was custom ordered to match exactly what we have on the ceiling. I still need to match up the stain and have some finish work done on the ceiling but I'm so happy with the results of the work. Brian explained the process and I felt the cost was very reasonable. He was responsive and professional in all communication. Lupe was also very responsive and so friendly. It was a pleasure to work with her as well. The roofer, Amador (no relation) was great. He was very friendly, professional and thorough. He showed up on time, respected our property and cleaned up each time he was out to do work. In Jan. 2023, I noticed the red coating that was put under the white sealer was showing through the white sealer. I notified the property manager that had contacted the work, Cabrillo Properties. After, I was contacted by a woman at McKay Roofing in El Cajon on Cuyamaca Street, lic.#428225. She said she hadn't bought the company, but had bought the crew from Renovation Roofing and sent out inspectors. I spoke with two inspectors, on site, and they determined the seal work was faulty and needed repair. Since then, Cabrillo Properties has repeatedly communicated with Renovation Roofing and McKay Roofing to have the work done. Ray Mosley of Renovation Roofing said he would send a crew to fix it, but didn't. Then he said the work had been done, but it hadn't, and still hasn't. To this day the same red, in the same places is still showing through---plus more. Both companies have had a year to resolve this, and instead they have only offered ambiguous, untrue and empty words.
