Sounds pretty straight forward, right? Well, August 1st I found out I was seven weeks pregnant at the time! At Planned Parenthood. A day before my out of state trip, too. Just my luck, right? Anyways... Fast forward a few weeks later and I got to see my little bean via Sonogram at RealOptions right next door. My boyfriend stumbled upon Birth and Beyond to set us up an appointment. I thought that was the most amazing thing he did! This place is great because Christine has all the resources that are needed for a successful birth journey for any couple or single mother out there. My partner and I clearly didn't plan our baby (this soon) as we are only 22 year olds and still want to see the world. But honestly, this has been the best experience for me and I'm glad that there are places like Birth and Beyond to help women through out these 9 months. It's scary, having to go through this alone and being young so it's nice to know people want to help you out! 5/5 recommend this place to any new moms out there.

First off let me say one thing about this place, Amazing!!…read more I started my prenatal care here when I was only 6 weeks pregnant. Right away I felt very comfortable and like everyone genuinely cared about me during the sensitive time in my life. They continued to be the saving grace I needed. Mary is always a warm welcoming face as you enter. The facility is clean and they have new equipment. All the nurses that helped me are patient, kind and very knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and helped me understand everything. Even though my particular case needed additional care, Alyssa gave me great recommendations as to where to go for that. Even after your baby is born, they still have your back. We have been provided with diapers, wipes and super cute clothing for our baby. We really appreciate and are super grateful we found RealOptions Central San Jose. Thank you for all you do for the community of moms and babies. All of the women working there, ESPECIALLY Michelle Kelly-- one of the best women in my life! I don't think she knows how much she's helped me through my worst times! When I first came to VPC, I was about 4 months pregnant, and it was at the old location in Dublin. The greatest time of my life, was a very challenging, depressing time of my life, and boy did they all help me through it. Everywhere from emotional support, to preparing to become a new mommy! It was amazing, I felt so loved, comfortable and welcome here. They offer all kind of support, everywhere from 1 on 1 emotional support, to providing an ultrasound. I believe most services are free but don't quote me- Check them out, again, they're amazing. I even was welcome there, and still felt very loved and comfortable post baby! As long as they are alive and in good standing the organization usually does well. The Crystal Cathedral was a thriving ministry as long as Robert Schuller was leading, but now there's talk of bankruptcy. The WHAT principle is when there's a good product or idea. That may be fine in the start, but it won't carry it thru the tough times. An example is the Dell music player. It was touted as good or better than the Ipod, but never did great in the market place because Dell focused on computers and not music players. If they had a passion it sure wasn't played that way to the consumers. The WHY principle is when when an organization is built around a passion to meet a need. Why is the reason the organization exists. No matter if times are tough or not it carries on in belief and Faith. Look at Apple! I believe that The Livermore Pregnancy Resource Center is based on the WHY principle! Tina's faithfulness to continue meeting a need is what drives the Center. THAT is why I support them. Not because they're a big name with a long list of accomplishments. Not because they have the perfect plan to run a center. But because the passion you share is sincere and infectious. I have met several of the clients and the kids that go there. They...are the testament to the good work done there.
