This was my first visit to Alpha Graphics. We went in this afternoon to print a nearly "impossible" print job. I had some weatherproof silver labels that I needed to get printed and had already gone to two places prior for the job. This place has a very familial atmosphere and the owner has been in business for over 20 years. You don't really expect to walk into a print shop and feel warm and welcomed, but that's how we felt. Although they weren't able to print the job that I had (and to tell you the truth, it needs a specialized printer to do it), the owner suggested an alternative and I was able to get my items printed in the nick of time. Greatest service ever! I went into the shop to get almost 150 addresses printed for my wedding invitations and they were beyond amazing help. I thought I had to transfer all information into an Excel format, but they figured out a way to get it printed and all done from my word document in just 10 minutes! And the cost was much better than I had expected!! Definitely recommended for any kind of printing! Horrible experience , first I walked in and a lady was just looking at me and said nothing that makes me feel kind of awkward but that's not the point . I give the file on June 8 it's a Thursday for my print order and then when I call checking the status of the printing the lady name Carolina she said there are some trouble about my file ( red flag 1: if I don't call them they will never call me about there is a problem) that if I want to cut and round corner they want me to do a certain format and Carolina is very bad at explaining over the phone so I told her I can pay extra so this graphic designer can fix it . (Red flag 2: they don't even ask me to outline the file they are careless ) and then I told her I will send the outlined file to their email box and she said ok. She also mention that the designer is busy on Friday but he will finished it on Monday . And so Monday morning when I call and ask and see if the samples are ready Carolina said yes the sample is ready . so I drove all the way there and that's around 12:30 pm and when I walked in they told me to wait and they just barely started to print my sample !!!!! WTH (Red flag 2 Carolina lies about the sample has been made ) And lastly on Monday Carolina said everything will be ready to pick up today which is Tuesday at 12 :30pm And I'm so glad I called in the morning today so I don't waste my gas to drive all the way there because she told me that there are some problems about the file and the designer is working around it and then I asked her why she didn't call me and can just resend the file and she said because she doesn't wants to get confused about the emails ( red flag 3: very unreliable ) I spend 45 for the designer to work on the file basically they just adding crop mark and make the file size the same size they gonna cut If they tell me what to do I can finished it within a hour . I thought the designer there is fast but seems like they didn't even we're working on my order !!!! And they lie about it . I hate when people lie about it I wish she can call me when there is a problem and we can solve it together but she just being a lier. read more
